High Five 4 Friday

Friday, August 16, 2013

If you have been with me for awhile you know the drill on Fridays,
if not, where the heck have you been?

Linking up as usual with Lauren (H54F)
and Darci (5 on Friday).

X and I had a great time Sunday morning at the park.
We had the place to ourselves so we could play on all the toys, swings, etc.
as much as we wanted to!
He absolutely loves the little bouncy rides :)

Later that day Mic joined us and we headed to a super small
indoor water park located about 5 minutes away.
X had a blast!
This little guy is fearless, and would have went down the slide on his
own if we would have left him!
Thankfully park rules said he was too small for that!
Plus, this mommy isn't ready for that yet!

Mic and I realized we had to plan a trip to one of the bigger water parks
after seeing how much X enjoyed the small one.
Mission completed!
We booked an overnight trip to Great Wolf Lodge after getting numerous
recs on how great it was for toddler age kids.
I can't wait to go!
The recap for that trip will definitely be a post in itself! lol!

My PilatesFusion class was my savior this week!
X has not been sleeping well at night,
so a relaxing workout was exactly what I needed!
PS. Anyone have any cures for a 20 month old that wakes up screaming at 2am every night?

My final high five goes out to the Cleveland Browns.
It is only preseason, but I am so happy you are back in my life!
Even though the Fall and Winter months are always crazy busy for us,
I love that fact that I have Browns football as a calm, yet stressful ending to my weekends :)

I will see you in a few weeks my friend! :)

Are you ready for the weekend?
How is your football team doing after a week or so into the season?

  1. I love the photo of X smiling at the water park! so cute!
Nolan has gone through phases of waking up screaming at 12 or 2. We would go in, find his paci, and soothe him/rub his back for a few minutes. He doesn't wake up in our new place (knock on wood) so I still blame the people who lived above us being up at all hours of the night.

    1. Thanks! I just love when he smiles like that!
I hope Nolan continues to sleep well in the new house :) X has done better (fingers crossed I don't jinx myself) the last few nights so I am hoping whatever it was has passed!

  2. Hi there! I saw your blog on the link up and thought I would drop in! Your son is just too adorable! My little man also has a blast at indoor water parks and luckily one opened up fairly close to where we live. And you can add me to the hearing great things about the lodge list! I hope to visit once for a little getaway or somthing as we are not too far away.
