Linking up with Mel, Shay & Sheaffer for...

What We're Eating This Week...
Monday - We kept things super simple and traditional - Hot dogs, Macaroni/Potato Salad, and cupcakes!

Tuesday - I enjoyed breakfast out with some friends on X's last day of school :)
For dinner we are tried a Prep & Pared meal from Kroger.

Wednesday - We have a t-ball game, so we will probably just grab something quick.

Thursday  - Pasta

Friday - Out with friends :)

What I'm Reminiscing About...

The JT concert I went to with some wonderful friends earlier this month!
I have been to some amazing concerts, and JT is right up there in my top 5 for sure!
He seriously puts on an incredible show!

What I'm Loving...
That we have air conditioning!
I know it sounds silly, but live without it for a little while and you will be over the moon when you get to live in it again :)

What We've Been Up To...

packing/moving,
I helped out at X's first field day at school,

What I'm Dreading...
Nothing at the moment

What I'm Working On...
Getting in beach shape! :/
Thankfully I am working from home this summer, so I have big plans to workout quite a bit in between making trades on the stock market ;)

What I'm Excited About...
That my Cleveland Cavaliers are back in the NBA Finals!
This is the fourth year in a row, and the fourth time against the Golden State Warriors :(
Fingers are crossed and lots of prayers will be said for my guys to come away with that trophy.

What I've Been Watching/Reading...
Playoff Basketball - Go Cavs!!!!
X playing Slither.io or some other game.

And X recently started watching DudePerfect!
Oh my goodness!
I can't look away either!
How do they do what they do???

What I'm Listening To...
I am obsessed with Kane Brown these days!

I heard this song from Lauren Alaina last summer in concert and I am so happy it is finally on the radio!

What I'm Wearing...
Anything to keep cool!
I swear we went straight from winter to summer temps and humidity around here!
UGH!
But I have also been joining Shelly @ The Queen In Between this month for her style challenge.
Check out my outfits from the first 15 days here.
And follow along with #momsrockmaystyle

What I'm Doing This Weekend...
I am heading to Columbus on Friday evening with friends for the Zassy's Treasures Summer Vendor Expo!
I can't wait!

What I'm Looking Forward To Next Month...
We just planned a water park day with friends,

a cookout with friends,
more t-ball games,
a girls only trip to Myrtle Beach (I have never gone anywhere with just girls so I am slightly nervous),
and then celebrating my niece turning 2!

What Else Is New...
We enjoyed a beautiful, but extremely hot wedding over the weekend :/
Love having this guy as my date for life :)

And X had his last day of school yesterday, so we are officially working and living life from home for the summer!

Bonus Question: What's Your Favorite Summer Salad?
I like simple salads.
Give me a basic pasta salad with Italian dressing, a few veggies mixed in, and maybe some pepperoni and cheese.

Another one I have come to love is Tortellini Salad.
Cook some cheese tortellini per instructions.
Add half a jar of cole slaw dressing and some chopped broccoli.
Chill for a few hours in the fridge.
Before serving throw some bacon bits on top and you are good to go!

Kindergarten Graduation

Wednesday, May 23, 2018

While X technically has a few days left of school, we attended his Kindergarten Graduation ceremony yesterday morning and it was SO cute!!!

They showed all the kiddos from AM Kindergarten on the screen and then the soon-to-be graduates walked in and sang a few sweet songs :)

Then it was diploma time!

Our school system doesn't have all day Kindergarten, so this is just have of the kids that will move onto 1st grade at X's school next year.
#Classof2030

Then it was time to celebrate with a few refreshments outside.
But first, we walked by X's classroom and spotted "him" ;)
We need to work on being a little more modest (insert shaking my head emoji here). :/

While we were outside we grabbed a few pictures with some of X's friends/fellow graduates.
I am putting this here so I never forget it/can show X when he gets older :)
X has been in class with the little girl above since they were 3 years old.
She and her parents are super sweet!
Whenever we talk about him getting married when he is older he still says he wants to marry me (melt my heart!).
Then I explain he will probably marry someone other than me, so he named Sofia :)
I can't wait to see these two grow up together and see if his prediction in Kindergarten turns out to be true ;)

Next up is a new friend this year.
X and Birch have quickly become good friends this year being in the same class at school, same class at Kindergarten enrichment, same soccer team, and the same basketball team!
Oh, not to mention we found out they live just down the road from us!
(We live in the country so you don't really know your neighbors.)

Beyond proud of this little guy!

Best buds since about 6 months old!

And we couldn't leave out super adorable Britt!

These three together are straight up crazy! lol!
They are super competitive at everything they do with each other.
But this coming Fall they will finally get to play together and I can't wait to see how they dominate the other soccer teams.

We couldn't have asked for a better teacher this year!
X had a great first year of school thanks to her, and we are all looking forward to 1st grade :)

What a great morning celebrating our little guy!

Songs by X

Monday, May 21, 2018

This weekend was a lot of the same.
Packing, moving, t-ball game, repeat.
Well, except for the songs that X made up for me on Sunday ;)

First up was this one...
#sweet #not

Then I asked him if he could sing a different/nicer song for me.

He came up with this...
#thankskid
#loveyoutoo

Hope you all had a fantastic weekend filled with lots of moments your kid(s) kept it real ;)

Last & First

Friday, May 18, 2018

Linking up with Erika, Narci & Andrea for...

Man am I glad it is Friday!
This week I have been in a complete daze :(
Let me back up and you will see why!

We kicked the weekend off with X's last Spring soccer game of the season on Saturday morning.
I absolutely loved watching him play this year!
Hard to say, but I can't wait to watch him in the Fall!

Followed immediately by our first t-ball game of the year!
Our games are supposed to be an hour, but I swear this one went on forever!
Despite it being super long and humid, all the kids had fun :)

We flew home, showered, and X and I were headed north for the evening.
He got some quality time with my mom, while I joined my dad and step mom for the 2nd Annual Duck Races at the Amvets.

The rest of the weekend was a complete blur for me until about 7pm on Sunday.
I was exhausted!
But it was Mother's Day after all, so we headed to Outback to celebrate :)

Our Internet and TV service were scheduled to turn off on Monday, so we decided to make the switch to our rental that evening.
Since we decided to suspend our normal TV service during the remodel I am in need of a streaming option for the summer/fall.
#icantlivewithoutmysports
So I am looking for your input on what streaming services you use, what you like/don't like, etc.

Isn't it amazing how sweet and heart melting our kids look when they are sleeping?
I had to take a picture to remind myself of this when he is whining ;)

 Eek!
My little guy graduates from Kindergarten next week!!!!
I can't wait!
They had pictures last week at school and look how stinkin' cute he is in the cap and gown!!!!

I also volunteered this week at X's first school field day!
It was really more games than races and such like I did as a kid, but I think they all had a good time :)

And if you missed it on Instagram, I have been participating in Shelly's #momsrockmaystyle Challenge!

I posted a recap from days 1-15 here.
You can follow along with me @xtremelyv

That is it for the week my friends!
Looking forward to another t-ball game this weekend and just getting more things packed up and moved.
