This week has been a busy one for sure!
Let's dive right into the favorites!
We have had lots of soccer this week!
And my favorite player scored 4 goals on Monday night!
2 of them were in the last 30 seconds of the game (of course I wasn't recording when he scored those two!)
I don't typically brag on my kid, but he sure is good!
Tuesday night X and I attended his ice cream social/book fair/art gala at school, 
We read a book together, got some info on the summer reading program at the library, X had some ice cream, we bought a new book to bring home, and I picked up a new piece of art to add to my collection ;)
And then X and some friends enjoyed some time on the school playground before we headed home for dinner.
Baseball/softball is one of my favorite sports, so I am helping coach again this year.
We had our first practice this week and it was so fun meeting the kids and teaching them about the game :)

X had kindergarten graduation pictures this week (full cap and gown..EEK!),
and we sent in our request for 1st grade placement :/
Does the school your kids attend let you request teachers?
Or do they just get who they get?
This is all new to me!
