Linking up with Andrea, Narci & Erika for...

 Hello Friday!
After having some major technical difficulties last week, I am back for Friday Favorites! :)
So a few weeks ago I did the big update on my iPhone 5.
I heard good and bad things, but I decided to take the chance.
Oh, boy do I regret it!
But good news...my new phone arrived and I love it!
The Android operating system has always been my favorite, and I am so glad to be back to it!
Meet my new best friend...the Google Pixel!

Last Friday morning had us super excited for the weekend.
This guy was also excited because it was farm/country day at school.

I had the day off for a doctor appointment, so after dropping X off at school I headed to Columbus.
I was done with my appointment just in time to grab lunch at my favorite fast food joint!
Chick-fil-A PLEASE come to Mansfield!!!

I then stopped in the Verizon store and had excellent service!
I had all my pics and contacts transferred to the new phone in no time!

Since I had time to spare, I headed to the new outlet stores!
They were on my way home after all ;)
It was there that I think I found my new favorite store!
Kirkland's was like walking into heaven!

I walked the entire place, but only stopped in my favorites that day.
I did pick up this super cute olive sweater at the Loft outlet store.

And I think this reindeer sweater might be my new favorite!
I can't wait to wear it!
(Sorry I can't find either of these online)

I picked up this super cute plaid shirt from JCrew Factory too!
Plaid is my favorite pattern :)

After picking up X from school we had a couple of errands to run.
Of course we had to stop in the toy section.
My favorite Stars Wars guy!

Saturday was really nice, but SUPER COLD!!!!
We had plans with friends to go to a place called The Barnyard, but it was way too cold for that!
So we pulled out my camera (that I can't totally figure out) to take some quick family pics.
This by far was my favorite!!!

We enjoyed a fun evening with friends on Saturday night,
and then relaxed for most of the day on Sunday.

Monday evening we met up with my dad and step mom so I could get this Indians sign for our yard.
I can't believe they are in the World Series!! EEK!
Baseball is definitely one of my favorite sports, and they Cleveland Indians are by far my favorite team!

Do many of you order from Zappos?
We ordered some new winter boots for X, but they were a bit too small.
I called customer service about exchanging them and had a wonderful experience and great conversation with Jamie.
Well, apparently she enjoyed our convo too and sent me this super soft blanket for X with a wonderful little message to me!
How sweet!!!
They might have moved up to my favorite online shopping stop now!

Tuesday night X had his wrist bands on and was ready to cheer on our favorite team!
Oh my goodness!
That was a great game!
Wednesday was a little rough to watch though :(
Fingers crossed and lots of prayers being said that the Indians turn it around tonight and this weekend in Chicago.

Do you remember getting these pails from McDonald's as a kid?
They were my favorite "toy" to get!
I swung through and ordered a happy meal the other day just to get one.
For X of course ;)

I picked X up from school the other day and he was so excited that he made it up to the pink that day.
Of course I didn't have my phone on me to take a pic of it :(
So I made sure to grab my phone the next day and snap a pic of him being on purple :)
Moving up the behavior chart is always a favorite of his...and mine!

Speaking of school, we recieved X's school pictures back today.

Oh my goodness!
Love that adorable guy!
School pictures are always a favorite!

It was the perfect night for Trick-or-treat last night!
Halloween is always a favorite of mine because I used to love to dress up in fun costumes.
(I was either a bat, Jem, or a punk rocker for most of the years! lol!)
And I love getting to see the kiddos dress up now.

My little blue ninja joined some of his best buds for trick-or-treat again this year.
We just love them all!
We filled up on pizza, apple donuts and cider :)

Tonight I am hosting one of my favorite events - My Annual Scarf Exchange!
I can't wait!
And then tomorrow Mic and I are headed to Columbus for my very first college football game!
Looks like it is going to be a great weekend!
Happy Friday Friends!

What's Up Wednesday | October

Wednesday, October 26, 2016

WOW! That month went SO FAST!!!!
Linking up with Mel, Shay & Sheaffer today :)

What we're eating this week...
Sunday - Crock pot Chicken & Dumplings
Monday - Out to dinner with my dad & step mom
Tuesday - Breakfast for dinner
Wednesday - Pot Roast & veggies
Thursday - Trick-or-treat with friends - Pizza and apple donuts! YUM!
Friday - Scarf Exchange night means Mexican!
Saturday - Game day grub

What I'm reminiscing about...
That five years ago I was having maternity photos taken.

And that 10 years ago Mic and I were newlyweds.

What I'm loving...
My new phone!
I have only had my new Google Pixel for about a week, but so far I like it A LOT!
After having the same iPhone 5 for 5 1/5 years it was definitely time for an upgrade.
#sorrynotsorry to all you Apple lovers out there, but I am so happy to be back to an Android product :)

What we've been up to...
The Fall session of soccer is over for X, so his team celebrated with a Pizza Party.

Mic and I attended Oktoberfest with some great friends.

I went with X on this school field trip to Wayne's County Market :)

And Mic and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary at Landoll's Castle!

What I'm dreading...
A lot and nothing all at the same time :/

What I'm working on...
Getting everything lined up for X's 5th birthday party!
I have reserved the venue, now I need to nail down the invitations and food!
He is currently obsessed with Ghostbusters, so I am going with that theme this year.
I am thinking about getting him this shirt for his party :)
Or this one...

What I'm excited about...
That I finally figured out, well slightly figured out how to use the camera I got for Christmas last year!
We pulled that baby out over the weekend and attempted to take some family photos outside.
After reviewing just a few, I think I got some great shots!
YEH!
Here is a preview from my phone..

What I'm watching/reading...
I am totally on the This Is Us bandwagon!
I am keeping up with Dancing with the Stars and The Blacklist.
Like I mentioned above, X is obsessed with the Ghostbusters these days.
We have been watching the original movies over and over again over the last couple of weeks!

I don't do a whole lot of reading these days, but I do check the Proverbs 31 Instagram (and this one) account daily for words of encouragement.

And I can't forget to include the Cleveland Indians!
Watching baseball in October is the best!
I mean, did you see Game 1 of the World Series last night?????
Love it! Go Indians!!!!!!

What I'm listening to...
I can't get enough of...

And this is on repeat as well...

What I'm wearing...
Boots, coats, sweaters, scarves, and lots of leggings!
Check out my LuLaRoe review to see what ones I am sporting these days :)

What I'm doing this weekend...
Friday evening I am hosting my annual scarf exchange with some local ladies,
and then on Saturday I am attending my very first college football game!!!
A Big Ten football game at that!!!
So excited to see this...
I can't wait!

What I'm looking forward to next month...
At the moment I don't have too many things planned so I can say I am looking forward to Thanksgiving, Black Friday shopping,
and decorating for Christmas!

What else is new...
Nothing thankfully!

LuLaRoe Review

Thursday, October 20, 2016

Have you heard of ???

I starting seeing posts that women were selling these clothes on Facebook a little over a year ago.
It could be from the comfort of their own home, at a friend's house (called a Pop-up), or on Facebook in photo albums or even a live sale.

Fast forward a year and my Facebook feed is blowing up with ladies that now sell LLR.
My friend Jody told me a few months ago that she was going to start selling these clothes as well, so I decided to do some digging to find out what all the fuss is about.

Here is just some of what I found...
"LuLaRoe clothes are fashion-forward, on trend pieces that are produced in limited quantities. The limited availability of designs and patterns (no more than 5,000 items are created from a specific print) creates high demand so if you love it, buy it!! The clothes are flattering, comfortable, and they are manufactured with attention to detail and a commitment to high quality."

Now fast forward again a few months for Jody's Launch Party.
She and her mom have such a cute set up for their in-home boutique.
Interested in hosting a Pop-up...they will definitely come to you as well :)

Everything was clearly labeled by style and size, and they have plenty of space for you to try on items as well.

Jody and her mom, Rita, are super helpful in picking out items that fit you well and that you actually will wear!
Need a top for those super cute leggings...they can help you with that too!

So here is what I picked up for myself...

I was actually gifted these leggings since I had never had a pair before.
They are buttery soft!
So the first cool day of Fall I threw them under my chambray dress with some boots and a matching scarf.
I loved this outfit!
And I think my leggings obsession began at this very moment :)

I am not a big pattern person, but I couldn't resist these leggings because of the "X" like pattern.
I loved them paired with my new burnt orange top from Old Navy (can't find online).

And I picked up this simple gray & black Randy Tee as well.
I am a sucker for a good baseball tee :)
And it was long enough to pair with leggings or skinny jeans.

If you would like to shop Jody's online boutique, you can request to be added to her page here.
Just let her know I sent ya :)

So remember how I just said above I am not a big pattern person?
Well, that does not apply at holiday time!
So when I heard that LLR made holiday leggings I was all over it!
Unfortunately, Jody didn't have any of the Halloween leggings in stock so I started looking around on some of the other pages.
A few friends that I grew up are also selling LLR and they DID have Halloween leggings!
SCORE!
I picked up these Jack-O-Lantern ones through a live sale on Facebook this past weekend and they already arrived at my doorstep on Tuesday!
Just as soft and cute as the rest!

I also snagged these deep purple spider web ones from another sale on Facebook.
They are on their way to me as I type this :)

Final Thoughts
While not every piece of LuLaRoe clothing is my style I definitely see the appeal.
And those leggings?
Oh my word!
They are super soft, super comfy, and can be dressed up or down.
That is my kind of clothing item!

Pricing isn't terrible either.
The prices are the same from seller to seller for the most part, shipping just varies.
Leggings are $25 (adult sizes) and the Randy tee I picked up was $35.

And yes, I will be buying more leggings!
I can't wait for the Christmas patterns to come out now! lol!

Do you own any LuLaRoe clothing?
What are your favorite styles?
Do you sell it?
