I have a wedding coming up in a few weeks and I have no idea what to wear!
See normally I just throw on one of my black cocktail type dresses, some heels and I am ready for the day/night.
This time it is different.
This time the ceremony, reception, etc. are outdoors.
The dress code has been labeled as casual.
And they even go so far as to say wear casual shoes to be able to play lawn games and such.
What should I wear?
I have heard the bride and groom are wearing typical wedding day attire, and that the bridesmaids are wearing like color dresses.
But that is it.
The groomsmen are wearing either khakis or jeans!
In my head I am thinking Mic will wear a button down dress shirt, khakis, and some loafers.
If it is really hot that day he may switch out the dress shirt a nice polo instead.
Of course, this is what I think he will wear. lol!
So now it is my turn.
If we are outside for the entire day/evening in the grass I am not wearing heels that will sink into the ground all night.
So I was thinking boots.
This is one of the options...
Pic was from 2 years ago when we were on vacation in the Smoky Mountains.
I have these options as well...
And I have booties too...
If it were up to me, I would still go the dressier dress route and maybe my black cowboy boots.
I don't know!
What do you wear to a casual outdoor wedding?
Oh, and to help you out, the wedding is located about an hour outside of D.C. at a bed & breakfast.
I know I can count on you all to steer me in the right direction :)
And don't forget to join me & Sarah for our #HairChallenge2015
We are challenging ourselves and you all to style your hair in 1-7 different styles.
I am keeping things pretty simple, but you are welcome to try some fancy styles as well :)
Just take pics of each and get your post ready to go live on Wednesday, September 16th and link up with us!
And last, but certainly not least...
