Style Me Pretty Tuesday

After watching the series finale of 90210 last night,

(yes, I know I am 34 years old and watch teen shows...I don't care!)

it made me curious about what TV shows (if any) have influenced your wardrobe over the years.

I can't say that there are a lot of shows now that influence how I dress,

but growing up I totally tried to dress like the characters in the shows I watched!

Jem

I think I dressed up as Jem for Halloween for 3 years straight!

Kelly Kapowski (Tiffani Thiessen) from Saved by the Bell

Brenda Walsh (Shannon Doherty)from Beverly Hills, 90210

Kelly Taylor (Jennie Garth) also from BH, 90210



And don't forget Valerie Malone from BH, 90210 as well

This really isn't a repeat, Tiffani Thiessen just happened to star in 2 of my favorite shows!

It is really hard not to just say the entire cast of the original Beverly Hills, 90210

inspired my style in one way or another.

I mean, the show was on for 10 CRUCIAL years of my life!

Fast forward to high school and after....

I still pick up ideas from TV shows, but I don't set out to look like any one particular character.

Now you might be asking yourself where is Sex in the City?

I honestly have never watched that show! And I never have had any interest to.

At the end of the day I still do get a lot of hair inspiration from all the shows I have listed above,

and even a little bit of outfit ideas.

BUT....

I am my own person :)
