The Feels | Scatterbrain Here

Monday, March 30, 2020

Sometimes my mind gets ahead of me.
Last week I posted my monthly series The Feels thinking it was the final Monday of the month 😏
So today I sharing the links to the last few months of The Feels, as well as hosting my link up below for you to join me.
Sorry again for all the confusion.
All this staying at home, becoming a teacher over night 😉, and such has really made me scatter brained.
Hopefully things will be somewhat back to normal next month! 🤞

2020 Friday Favorites Week #13

Friday, March 27, 2020

Happy Friday!
It is Friday right? ;)
All this staying at home has a lot of us questioning what day of the week it is.
It truly is Friday and that means it is time for Friday Favorites with Andrea, Narci & Erika!

This week was supposed to be Spring Break for X.
While I didn't have anything big planned originally, all plans were cancelled when we received the Stay at Home order from the Governor of Ohio.
Since things started Monday evening, we took advantage of the sunshiny day on Sunday and went for a ride.
We just drove around, and then checked out some new cabins and campsites at a local lake.

The lake was high and lots of the area was flooded, but it was still nice to get out of the house for a bit.

Other than that we have stayed home.
We did have to pick up our grocery order on Tuesday afternoon that I placed on Saturday.
We quickly came back home and have only ventured outside for some fresh air and to grab the mail.

In blog news things were busy around here this week.

Monday was all about the March feels :)

For Tuesday Talk this month I shared 5 ways to stay sane right now.

Wednesday was a double dose post!

And I also shared my current work from home uniform along with some new fun options in my Style My Way weekly post.

With everything going on last week I pushed my Let's Stay Home series to this week.
So on Thursday I shared some super cute outdoor living options.

And that brings us to today!
I can't remember the last time I was able to have the time to write 5 blog posts in a week!

What have you been doing to stay active or busy or sane during this time at home?

Wishing you all a weekend that is happy, healthy and stress free!
Next week we are back to this home school thing :/

Thanks as always for stopping by!

Let's Stay Home | Outdoor Living

Thursday, March 26, 2020

What better time to think about your outdoor living space than when you are quarantined to your home.
Who knows how long this will last.
So let's get those spaces cozy and chill for the late nights by the fire or pool, or when we can finally hangout with friends again!

Bistro sets

If you have a small porch or balcony, or don't have the need for a big dining set these bistro sets are perfect for you.

3 piece metal and wood chat set

3 piece wicker chat set

3 piece bistro set

3 piece rattan rocker set

Dining Sets

If you are looking for something a bit bigger, I think any of these table options would be a great pick!

3 piece teak wood picnic table

I love this picnic table option with the chairs too!

6 piece dining set

11 piece wicker rattan dining set

7 piece dining set

Fire Pits

In my opinion you can't have a cozy outdoor space without a fire.

I am in love with the look of this fire kettle!!
The kettle and the cauldron give you just a little something extra from the run of the mill fire bowls.

Fire Kettle

Large Fire Cauldron

This fire pit column is great if you want a more modern feel to your space.

Round metal fire column

This one is definitely pricier, but I love the size and gray color option!

Lights

There are so many different lighting options out there.
From lanterns to lamps, torches to pathway lights.
It honestly depends on your style and space.
Since our home is out in the country it gets pretty dark.
I love the idea of stringing some lights up in the trees!

10 count string lights

20 count globe lights

How do you decorate your outdoor living space?
Do you have couches and chairs or dining sets?
Do you have lots of decor or keep things simple?

Let me know your outdoor living style in the comments below :)

Thanks as always for stopping by today!

Style My Way | Graphic Tees

Wednesday, March 25, 2020

Since my work from home uniform consists of jeans and some sort of tee, I thought I would share some of my favorite graphic t-shirts that I have worn in the past.
Don't worry...if you are doing some online shopping these days I will add some new ones throughout this post as well :)

I love a good graphic tee or tank.
Sweatshirts with words or graphics are great too!
I don't discriminate 😉

From Cleveland tees...

To my love for all the Fall things...

To some of my favorite band tees...

Band Tees

 To holiday tees....

Holiday Tees

To all the feel good vibe tees...

Feeling Good Tees

Misc. Tees

I love them all!
Well, maybe those ones that talk about dogs or guacamole aren't for me.
But for the most part I like them all :)

Do you rock graphic or wordy tees?
Where is your favorite place to shop for them?

I have found quite a few of mine either at Target, on Amazon or Jane.com.

Now it's your turn to link up your style posts below :)

Thanks as always for stopping by today!
Don't forget to check out my What's Up Wednesday post as well today!

Special thanks to Andrea @ Living on Cloud Nine for picking my look to reshare last week on her blog 😚😚

What's Up March!

This might have been the most uneventful and odd month of all of our lives.
But that doesn't mean there weren't some good moments!

Linking up with Sheaffer and Shay.

What we're eating this week...
Monday - Cereal #keepinitreal
Tuesday - Spaghetti & Meatballs
Wednesday - Hot dogs & Macaroni/Potato Salad
Thursday - Tacos & Chipotle Rice
Friday - Leftovers
Weekend - Ordering Out if we are still able

What I'm reminiscing about...

When we were able to leave the house freely just last week.
Too soon?
Seriously, we drove past our old neighborhood this past weekend and it is crazy to think about our life then.
Most of our years there we didn't even have X yet!
While I'm so glad for where we are and where we are headed now, we did have some great times in our old house :)

What I'm loving...
Working from home!
While I still get ready for the day, I am not wearing dress clothes 🙌🙌
My daily uniform is now jeans and a tee...my favorite!

What we've been up to...

Not much now that we have Stay Home orders from the state of Ohio.
X is playing a lot of Fortnite since it is supposed to be Spring Break this week.
Next week we will be back to school work from home.

What I'm dreading...

Nothing really.
I'm lucky that I have the ability to be at home right now during this time.

What I'm working on...

This post and work for the office.

What I'm excited about...

Learning something new.
I shared 5 ways to stay sane during this time and I decided to challenge myself.
I'm currently deciding between relearning French or learning to play guitar.
Which one should I try?

What I'm watching/reading...

I finished New Girl over the weekend!

I absolutely loved it, but now I need another good comedy to get into.

Any suggestions?
Mic and I just watched and finished Fortitude on Amazon too.

Image result for fortitude

And now I am back to watching Masked Singer with X, and the rest of my usual shows - This Is Us, A Million Little Things, Blue Bloods, The Blacklist and Schitt's Creek.

What I'm listening to...

X talking extremely loud with his gaming headphones on.
Please tell me this is normal?
I have told him to quiet down a million times, but he can't hear how loud he is 😳

Otherwise I have been listening to country mostly these days.

And one of my favorite songs of all time...

What I'm wearing...

I mentioned above that my stay at home attire is jeans and a tee.
But here are some of the looks I wore or recreated this past month in my style series.
This month everything had a green theme.

From this muted green button down outfit,

to the multiple options of green looks I styled for St. Patrick's Day looks.

And I shared my love for Baubles by B and all the goodies I recently received :)

Check out this post to grab my discount code for your purchase :)

Head here to check out today's post featuring lots of fun graphic tees!

What I'm doing this weekend...

Since Ohio is operating under a Stay at home order, we aren't doing much of anything.
But I'm hoping to stop by our house and check out if there has been anything new going on.

What I'm looking forward to next month...

Praying that this virus dies down and we get back to a somewhat normal life.
We have Easter to celebrate, soccer and baseball season, etc. to enjoy.

What else is new...
I shared my favorite moments from March in my monthly series called The Feels.

I also shared 5 ways to keep yourself from going crazy during this lock down we are under.

And that is it for this month!
Praying you are all staying safe and healthy during this time.
