Holiday PJ's & Apparel with Shinesty

Monday, November 30, 2020

Hello!
Happy last day of November!
Happy Cyber Monday!
As much as it felt like this year has dragged on and on forever, it really has flown by.

Today I'm sharing some super cute Pajama Overalls from one of my favorite brands!
Shinesty reached out to me once again to share these holiday pj's and I couldn't say yes fast enough.
Remember this dress from last year...

And the previous year I was gifted matching Nutcracker undies :)

After receiving those Mic fell in love with the men's boxer briefs, and I'm sure the men in your life will too!
Don't tell him, but I have more coming his way for Christmas :)

On with the Pajamaralls!
These are super comfy and made really well!
And come in multiple patterns.

And they come with a built in bottle opener in the top pocket!
These are perfect for a casual holiday party or just chillin' at home.

Thank you so much Shinesty for another amazing piece from your collection!

Don't miss out on the fun!
Head to Shinesty.com now to score some amazing Cyber Monday deals on undies, PJ's, dresses, and more!

Happy shopping friends!

XOXO ~ Vanessa

What's Up November

Wednesday, November 25, 2020

This month has once again gone by so fast!
I can't believe it is time to link up with Sheaffer and Shay already!

What we're eating this week...
Honestly nothing is planned out this week other than Thanksgiving day and I'm not stressing over it 😂

What I'm reminiscing about...
9 years ago we were getting ready to welcome our (not so little anymore) guy into the world!

While this year will definitely be different, I can't wait to celebrate him soon!

What I'm loving...
All the Christmas decor and lights people and the stores are putting up earlier than normal.
It's 2020 and anything goes this year.

What we've been up to...
MOVING!!!
I can't believe I'm actually admitting that.
It has been a LONG time coming.
There is quite a bit of things that need finished up, but overall it is livable :)
Now if I could just figure out what to do with all the boxes of stuff until things are actually done!

What I'm dreading...
Nothing at the moment!
While it isn't perfect, life is good :)

What I'm working on...
Packing, unpacking, decorating for Christmas,

Christmas shopping, planning some celebration for X's 9th Birthday, and so much more!
Basically all the things!

What I'm excited about...
Finally being at our forever home for the holidays! 💗🎄

What I'm watching/reading...
We are still powering through Downton Abbey - currently on season 5.

I just finished up Dancing with the Stars - Bummed Nev and Jenna didn't win it all.
I loved Nelly too!

We just started Big Sky and we are really liking it!

And of course I'm watching all the Christmas movies on Hallmark, Lifetime and everywhere else I can find them :)

What I'm listening to...
All the Christmas music music on my computer, in my car, on my phone, etc.
It is never too soon for it in my world!
It just makes everything happier :)
This is X's (and my) favorite right now...

What I'm wearing...
Sweaters and jeans are on repeat these days.
And I just switch out the sweater for a graphic tee when we are moving.

What I'm doing this weekend...
Eating all the leftover Thanksgiving food, watching lots of football, and hopefully finishing up decorating the trees :)

What I'm looking forward to next month...
Celebrating X turning 9,
my birthday,
Christmas,
and ringing in a NEW YEAR 😂😂
#seeya2020

What else is new...
This...

Not exactly what I was planning on doing on Tuesday evening.
I was washing a soup mug at work earlier in the day and the handle broke off.
Apparently it cut right through my finger and I didn't even realize it until I saw the blood gushing out.
I put Band-Aids on throughout the day and such, but couldn't get it to completely stop bleeding.
So last night I headed to Urgent Care to have it checked out.
Thankfully, they were able to get away with glue instead of stitches 🤞🤞.
But I will be in a splint for 10 days and I can't get it wet :/
But it could have been a lot worse.
Thankful I am not cooking or even baking this year for Thanksgiving!

And that is it!
I hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday and a very Happy Thanksgiving!

Amazon Lately

Thursday, November 19, 2020

I feel like all we have done is order from Amazon these last few weeks!

First up is this LOVEHANDLE Andrea shared awhile back.
My phone is just too big for my hand size.
I thought about getting a Loopy case, but they only seem to have one that fits my phone right now.
So I decided to give this strap a try.

I am loving it!
I ordered the black to blend into my phone case, but there are at least 24 other color/pattern options to choose from :)

I recently ordered this candle for a Secret Sister gift and I'm thinking of ordering one for myself now.
At the moment it is on sale for $15!

Bring on all the Christmas scents and smells!

I was in need of some new slippers, so I took the recommendation from a friend and lots of bloggers and ordered these Jessica Simpson ones in black.
They should arrive this weekend :)

With taller ceilings I needed a bigger/taller Christmas tree.
This guy has been sitting in my cart for a week!
My cousin said they recently bought the same one and love it, so I quickly hit submit order!

This one should arrive by Wednesday.
I don't typically wait so long to decorate our tree, but I'll just work on the rest of my trees until this one gets here.

A few other items we ordered recently for the house...

Bathroom trash bins & brushes
Food storage containers
Clothing racks - we haven't installed anything in our closet yet

Find these items and more in my Amazon Storefront :)

And that is it for today!
What are you shopping for on Amazon these days?
Between home items and Christmas gifts I think more packages are arriving daily 😂😂

Friday Favorites Week #45 & #46

Friday, November 13, 2020

I'm back for good this time ;)
Linking up with Andrea and Erika for some favorites from the last couple of weeks.

First of all, Happy Friday the 13th!
My mom and I have always treated it as a good luck day and I think you should too! :)

We finished up the fall soccer season with two back to back weekends of soccer tournaments.
The boys have improved SO MUCH and really work well as a team now :)

It was really cold at all the games, but the second game on Saturday was a mud fest!
I think every single kid fell in the mud pit in the middle of the field at one point :/

The boys finished up their Saturday games just in time to go trick-or-treat.
X was lucky enough to tag along with some friends from soccer in their neighborhood since our evening was rescheduled (due to rain) right in the middle of our games :(

He had so much fun!
#fearthereaper

And then Sunday we were right back to the soccer fields to finish up the tournament.

House news...I am loving this view from my kitchen sink/island down into the family room and dining room space :)

And I started going through some things to move and pulled out my most favorite dishes!
I received these beauties two years ago and had packed them up when we moved out of the house.
The rest of them are a woodsy winter scene, but the deer are my absolute favorites :)

This kid was in need of a haircut and my girl Kasey worked her magic once again.
He (and I) loved it!
And now he wants his hair washed every single time he goes because it was so relaxing. lol!

It was my grandma's birthday last weekend so my mom brought her down for a quick visit and to see the house.
She had cake and such already, so we celebrated with some yummy apple donuts and coffee!

Speaking of coffee, I made sure to grab my favorite holiday drink at Starbucks on Sunday when I did my grocery shopping.
YUM!!!
#caramelbruleelatte

I saw this the other day and I couldn't stop laughing!
I used to love these strawberry candies as a kid, but this is correct....
I have no idea where they ever came from! lol!

This past week on #TheRealBuild we talked about paints and stains.
You can check out my highlights on Instagram to hear more about our choices.
And make sure to check out the hashtag to see what the rest of the ladies had to say.

I have no idea why I am just finding out about Wood Wick candles!
I received this guy awhile ago and just came across when going through things (the joys of living in a cramped space while building - you discover all kinds of things tucked away).
It is SO GOOD!
I absolutely love the smell of firewood on a fire and this comes pretty close!

Good hair days are rare these days (I'm due for an appointment next week), so I had to document it!

And last but not least is my wooden Cleveland Browns décor.
My dad gave this to me last month and I finally set it outside the new house.
The light is solar and doesn't get much sun, so I was skeptical that it would work.
Look at that guy shining!
I love it!
GO BROWNS!!!!!

And that is it for me!
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

I'm alive!

Monday, November 9, 2020

I am alive believe it or not 😉
The last week has been SO busy, and I don't have internet at home currently 🤦🏻‍♀️
I promise to be back as soon as things are up and running again.
Posting from my phone just isn't worth it.
So hang in there and I will be back very soon 🤞🏼🤞🏼
