The Friday Faves #22

Friday, May 31, 2019

Happy Friday and Happy 1st Day of Summer Vacation!
When I was a kid I loved summer vacation for so many reasons, but the best part was getting to sleep in!
My child doesn't understand what sleeping in is 😭
I'm in for a very long summer if this keeps up!
#givemeallthecoffee

Today also kicks off my 2 1/2 ish months of working from home/full time uber driver for X 😉
Again...#givemeallthecoffee

So while I drink my second cup of coffee for the morning, let's dive into the favorites from this last week of school! ⛾

Friday was field day, or as they call at X's school, Western Games!
I volunteered at one of the stations so I wasn't able to get pictures of all the activities the kiddos did.
X's class was at one of the water stations when I got a break.

This is so my child trying to stay dry during this activity! lol!

I snapped a few pics during the Rock, Paper, Scissors Olympics too :)

This kid had so much fun at Western Games!

A new coffee shop was doing a soft launch, so I quickly stopped by to try it out while I waited for the kiddos to go to lunch.

Back to the school and the kiddos were just coming outside for recess.
I walked around while X showed me all his favorite things to do on the playground :)

I headed home to get some work done before having to get ready for baseball.

On Saturday, Mic did some yard work on our property while X and I got a little batting practice in.

Sunday we headed north for a very wet cookout at my dad's.
This was the only picture I took...

The rest of Memorial Day weekend I spent trying to not eat this entire giant bowl of watermelon!

The last week of school was finally here!
We prepped teacher gifts and were ready for a low key week.

And just like that they are moving on to 2nd Grade!

I love interviewing X on the first and last days of school!

And look at how much he has grown up!!!!

✌ out 1st Grade!

And then I saw this...

😍😍😍

In other news, on the blog this week I recapped all the May things in my What's Up Wednesday post!

And I shared some tankini and one piece swimwear options that I am sure you will love!

And that is it my friends!
I hope you all have an amazing weekend!

Women's Swimwear | Tankini & One Piece Options

Thursday, May 30, 2019

Hello! Hello!
I am back this week with more swimwear options for the ladies :)
If you missed my post last week, I shared some some two piece options.
You can check that out here.

Today is all about one pieces and tankini's.
I've mentioned before that I am not a one piece person.
I like the look of them on so many other ladies, but it is just not good on me.
Plus, I pee way more than the average person.
I need quick vs. full undressing and redressing.
#justsaying

Either way, I think I found some super cute suits for those of you that can rock those adorable one pieces!
And I found some tankini's for those of you who like a good one piece, but prefer the ease of a two piece :)

Let's get to it!

** All options today are from Target. This post is not sponsored in any way. I just trust Target when it comes to quality, yet affordable pieces. **

This Crochet bandeau suit is super cute!
It offers a full coverage bottom and removable straps for extra support.
This is currently available in black in sizes S-XL, and white in XS only.

Crochet details are still all the rage this summer.
This plunging neckline suit is perfect for an adults only vacation!
It is available in black (or dusty blue - large only) in sizes XS-XL.

This shirred scallop halter style suit is super similar to the two piece I shared last week.
This suit offers full coverage and support, yet still making the wearer feel sexy with the keyhole.
Currently available in black in sizes S-XL.

This striped tankini top and solid hipster bottom would be great for chasing the kids around at the water park!
Both available in S-XL.

This high neck crochet tankini top and bottom might just be calling my name!
It gives the feel of a two piece, with the coverage of a tankini/one piece!
Both top and bottom are available in XS-XL.

Another great option is this bandeau style tankini top with removable straps paired with this bottom.
Top is available in XS-XL and bottoms are available in S-XL.

Which style is your favorite?
Are you a Two piece, Tankini, or One piece girl?
What other retailers do you shop at for swimwear?

Thanks for stopping by today!

The Friday Faves #21

Friday, May 24, 2019

Friday is here!
I am kicking off the weekend a little early by helping out at X's school this morning for Western Games (field day).
That's automatically a favorite in my book!

Now on with the rest of my favorites from this past week.

This past weekend was soccer tournament time around these parts.
The amount of teams, people, cars, etc. were crazy!
And for some reason summer showed up and left all within one weekend :/

The boys played so well together this Spring and went undefeated in the regular season.
Tournaments were not our friends :(
Friday night we played a team that we just faced and beat the weekend before.
They came into the game ready to take us on.
Despite the final score only being 4-2, if felt like we lost by 20!

Saturday was a new day, and another game.
Unfortunately, we ended in a 3-3 tie :/

My mom, step dad, brother and niece all came down for the game on Saturday, so we enjoyed a late lunch/early dinner with them before they headed back home.

Lily and I headed outside and took a few selfies while we waited for everyone else :)

#cousins

Sunday morning we had our last game.
Love these boys :)
But I am ready for a break from soccer!
#footballgirlatheart

Later that afternoon I did my grocery shopping and came across this bottle of goodness!
#YUM

Just like that the weekend was over and it was time for baseball!
I love getting to help coach this kid!

We won our first two games, but unfortunately came away on the losing side Wednesday night.
The long faces just break my heart, but losing is apart of the game :/

I finally ordered those beauty blenders from Amazon that Courtney Shields raves about and they arrived earlier this week.
They are great!
That whole package is under $9 and available on PRIME!

On the blog this week I shared some of my favorite two piece swimwear options for the ladies!

And you know I love all things Instagram!
These were too good not to share!

And this...

That is a view of Lake Erie and the sky right near my hometown!
LOVE!!!

And that is it!
I am looking forward to another baseball game tonight and then a long weekend with my guys!

What are your Memorial Day plans?
Do you head to a cookout or host one?
Do you travel?
I would love to hear about it in the comments below :)

Thanks for stopping by!
