I totally missed the boat + A Giveaway

Thursday, October 22, 2015

I had such high hopes of decorating our house with fun Fall/Halloween decorations.
I have done nothing!
I take that back, I have two small wicker pumpkins hidden on my sofa table.
Otherwise, the only Fall decor we have going on are the millions of leaves that fall all over our property.

So I am moving on.
Mic and I love Christmas and all the lights, songs, etc. that comes with it.
So when I was pregnant with X, we decided to start decorating our house on November 1st.
1. Because I was due on December 5th and we knew that would be chancing it.
2. We want to have the warm, fuzzy feeling that Christmas gives us for as long as possible!

So since I missed the All Things Fall boat, I am jumping on board the Christmas train!
Think trees, lights, ornaments, Santa statues, stockings, cookies, and more!

Here are a few things I am looking forward to doing this holiday season.

We have a couple old wagon wheels we saved from the old barn and this would be so easy to replicate!

There is some outdated wicker furniture in the sun room that I am looking to bring some new life to with some spray paint, new seat cushions, and throw pillows.

Now that X is a year older, I think he will be more interested in our Elf, Sheldon.
I am looking forward to coming up with fun things for him to do :)

Watching as many movies as we can during ABC Family's 25 Days of Christmas!

The list goes on and on!
But I will stop there, because let's get through Halloween first.

Speaking of Halloween, I have another great giveaway for you!

YAY Christmas!! Annabelle got an elf last year as a present, I can't wait to get it out. She's still pretty little but I think she'll get it enough to enjoy it! So fun!

  6. I finally got out my fall stuff last weekend which was probably too late for any good, but still. It's also only a few pumpkins, but hey I tried! I can't believe it's already time to start thinking about Christmas. Where did 2015 go? I love your wagon wheel idea - so pretty and rustic!

  7. I can't wait to start decorating for Christmas! I have Halloween stuff out now...but I don't really want to get Fall stuff out, cause I want to decorate for Christmas before Thanksgiving so it's done! Last year we did that and we loved being able to see Christmas for that much longer! :)
