YouTube Obsession - Glee Performances

Monday, September 23, 2013

So when the show Glee first began back in 2009,
I honestly didn't have any desire to watch it.
I have no idea why I didn't want to watch it or why it didn't appeal to me then,
but it just didn't :(
And if you know me at all, that is just strange!
I mean some of my all time favorite movies are musicals!
I could watch Grease, Hairspray, Shag,
and all of the High School Musical movies on replay all day long!

Side note: Do not type the word "Shag" into any search engine around children!
I was definitely not prepared for the things that appeared on my screen and X wasn't
even around me!

Back to my story.

I started tuning into a few episodes here and there last season and become hooked!
I honestly can't wait for the new season to begin in a couple of weeks.
Actually, I'm very interested to see how exactly they handle the death of Cory Monteith.

After watching the rest of last season,
I felt myself wanting more of the show.
I wanted to know how the characters ended up in the glee club,
how they got to where they are now, etc.
This is where YouTube comes into play.
I started searching for previous seasons and episodes,
but all that would show up is the performances from the show.
I now watch them all the time!
I love checking out the songs they sang on the episodes I haven't seen yet.
It really makes me want to see the show from the beginning now more than ever!

Here are a couple of my favorites from episodes I haven't seen yet...

And here are a couple from just this past season...

I think a subscription to Netflix will my on my Christmas Wish List this year! :)

Do you watch Glee?
Do you have a YouTube obsession with anything?

  1. I do watch Glee and I'm also very interested how they're going to handle Cory's death.

I have a YouTube obsession with So You Think You Can Dance. I can spend hours watching those videos.
