Mic and I love when we receive a new Kraft Food & Family magazine in the mail.
And I am always jealous if he got his hands on it first. lol!
All the recipes sounds delicious and are pretty darn easy to make.
I don't know about you, but I don't have much time after work to make dinner before it is bath & bed time for X.
I need quick, simple, good meals to make.
This magazine has come through for me time and again.
And the subscription price of $13.98 for a year (or $18.98 for 2 years) is well worth it!
When I received the above copy I knew it wouldn't be long before I was making the cover dish.
Anything pasta goes over pretty well in our house and this dish did not disappoint!
#badblogger ~ I forgot to take any photos when I made this dish last week :(
So you get the stock photo from the website...sorry!
You will need the following ingredients:
1 lb. extra lean ground beef
1 onion, finely chopped
1 carrot, finely chopped
3 cloves of garlic, minced
1 jar (24oz.) of spaghetti sauce
1/2 cup of water
2 lbs. frozen cheese ravioli (about 24), uncooked
1 tub (8oz.) of Philadelphia Cream Cheese
1/2 cup of milk
1 1/2 cups Kraft Shredded Mozzarella Cheese with a touch of Philadelphia
2 tbsp Kraft Grated Parmesan Cheese
Directions:
Heat oven to 350*
Spray a large skillet with cooking spray and brown the meat, onion, carrot, and garlic over Medium-High heat.
Stir in the spaghetti sauce and water and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Spray a 13x9 pan with cooking spray.
Spread 1/2 the meat sauce on the bottom of the pan and cover with half of the ravioli.
Whisk cream cheese & milk together until blended (this took forever!) and spread over the ravioli.
Top with layers of 3/4 cup shredded cheese and remaining ravioli.
Cover with the rest of the meat sauce and cheeses.
Cover and cook for 50 minutes or until heated through, uncovering the last 10 minutes (I put mine under the broiler on low for the last 10 minutes).
Let stand for 10 minutes before cutting to serve.
Each serving (about 12) is only 330 calories!
Add a salad and your meal is complete :)
Do you receive the Kraft Food & Family magazine?
