Style Me Pretty

There are so many fashion/style/beauty link ups on Wednesday that the title of this weekly post can get long or just plain weird!
So I decided to bring back my oldie, but goodie title of "Style Me Pretty"!
Completely fitting for today since it is also the very first link up for the Spring Style Me Challenge :)

Jordan @ Just Jordan
Vanessa @ X-tremely V
Anne-Michelle @ May We Be Allergy Free
Deena @ Shoes to Shiraz

Make sure to check out the bloggers listed above who are also participating in the challenge!

Of course I am also linking up with Sarah @ Tucker Up, Lindsey @ The Pleated Poppy for WIWW,
and Alison @ Get Your Pretty On for I Feel Pretty :)

Enough of the link up words and names, let's get to the outfits!

{day one}

The weather was about 65* and super windy! It also rained most of the day :(
My recreation:
For work:
Kut from the Kloth denim jacket - color sold out/similar Nordstrom
J.Crew Factory purple gingham shirt - color sold out, similar
Mossimo leopard flats - sold out Target, similar
(Those are my exact flats in the challenge photo)

For Play:
Swapped out khaki's for Loft Modern Straight white jeans.
Don't mind the potty chair in the background.
Working on potty training and how to take a better selfie all at the same time :)

{day two}

It was 25* and snowing when I left the house :(
Had to swap out the flats for boots due to the snow.
My recreation:
Gold circle necklace - sold out Target, similar
Call It Spring Cognac boots - sold out JCP, similar

Both of the above outfits had to be modified since they fell on work days, and the weather was not very Spring like.
Plus, I will be subbing in some of my own closet finds since I didn't need/want to purchase everything on the shopping list.
Can't wait to see how everyone else is styling these looks!

So how do you think I did after the first two days?
Are you participating in the Spring Style Me Challenge?
What did you wear this past week?

  5. You always look so cute!! I need to do a better job of looking at stuff on pinterest or wherever for inspiration, and then seeing what I can come up with. I wear the SAME combo's constantly!

  6. The gingham shirt in purple...my next buy!! :) And like how you cuffed the button downs over the sweater...I've seen a lot of this! I have to try it. It's silly I never have! :)

  7. Nice job making adjustments for the weather. I'm in CA, so I have the opposite problem having a hard time doing the layering look when I want to be in a tank top and shorts. Super cute high boots for the snow!

  8. I like both of your looks. The gingham blouse is great - love the color. The sweater on day 2 is another great color. Day 2 is my favorite because I love the boots with outfit.

  10. Vanessa - I thought I should get over here and check out your blog since you all are being so nice and letting me join the linkup for the Style Me Challenge. Your little boy is so cute! I liked your outfits. It's been cold and rainy here so I haven't been able to wear some of the outfits, but it has been fun! :)
