A little of this, a little of that

This past weekend was just what the title states.

After what felt like a very long week, I was more than ready to have a low key Friday evening with my guys. We picked up some Chinese take-out and chilled at home. Once the two of them fell asleep I caught up on a couple shows on the DVR :)

Saturday in between errands and such, I joined a good friend and her mom for lunch. It was really nice to have some quality adult time! You don't realize how much you miss that until you finally have it! We ended up hitting up a local craft show and I picked up a couple small Christmas gifts. I found these too...
Homemade lotion (Vanilla Cream Body Whip) that smells delicious!!! And a new wooden Christmas sign for the house :)

Mic and I ended our evening watching the movie The Heat with Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy.

Before heading over to my in-laws for a super yummy Lake Erie Perch dinner on Sunday evening, we just did the normal household chores. X and I attempted to turn his crib into a toddler bed while Mic did some work for the office. After tantrums from X and I both, and a little help from Mic...we finally finished it.

He slept in it for a little longer than normal, but still returned to our bed by 1-2am :(

Before heading to bed, I found this on Pinterest...

My thoughts exactly!!! :)

So how was your weekend?
