Show & Tell | Beauty Routine

Tuesday, July 7, 2015

Eek! I can't believe I am about to share my beauty routine with you all, or I should say lack of routine :/
Hopefully you can all give me some tips, product ideas, etc. when we are all done :)

So this is where I was going to have a little video.
Not happening. Lol!
Maybe I will add it later on :)

So every morning I wake up, put a spoonful of coconut oil in my mouth and hop in the shower.
Oh yeah, I joined the oil pulling fun last year and I love it!
But that is a story for another day.

I wash my face in the shower with Oil of Olay face wash and every other morning I use my Clarisonic Mia 2 with that same face wash.

After my shower I apply Simple protecting light moisturizer all over my face.
I let that sit for a few minutes before I begin applying my makeup for the day.
Currently I am using tinted moisturizer as foundation, but in the winter months I switch back the BareMinerals Bare Skin foundation.
Throw on my eyeliner, shadow, mascara, and a little bit of bronzer and I am done.

I usually walk in the door from work and immediately wash my face to get my makeup off.
I either use the Oil of Olay wash again or my Kroger version of Cetaphil.
No fancy make removers for me unless I am wearing that Revlon mascara (usually reserved for special occasions).
If my skin is feeling dry I put a little more of the Simple lotion on my face, but if not I just leave it as is.
Before bed I add some of that lotion if I didn't do it earlier and head to bed.
On days that stress has gotten the better of me and I see some unpleasant sights (ie. pimples) I dab a bit of honey on my face where needed and go to sleep.
My face has typically cleared up by the next morning :)

It's that simple my friends!

I put this photo in my post about Firmoo, but I figured I would include it here too.
This is just me.
No makeup, no crazy lighting, no filter.

I lighten up my foundation for summer too... or wear none at all, which isn't always pretty lol
