Good Eats | Valentine Toffee

Tuesday, February 11, 2020

I finally made Christmas Crack over the holidays and it was a huge hit!
So I decided to share it here, but with a Valentine spin :)
I modified this recipe I found on Pinterest and it turned out perfect!

Here is what you will need:
14 long Graham Crackers (enough to fill the cookie sheet)
1 cup of butter
1 cup of brown sugar
1 package of white chocolate chips
Valentine's sprinkles

I cut the recipe in half and just used a smaller cookie sheet.

Preheat your oven to 400*.
Line your cookie sheet with foil and spray with cooking spray.
Then lay out the graham crackers.
You will have to break some to fit the size of your cookie sheet.

Melt butter over low-medium heat in a sauce pan.
Once the butter is melted, add your brown sugar and stir together.
Let the mixture come to a boil, and continue to boil for 3 minutes.
Continue to stir so the mixture doesn't burn.
Pour the mixture over the graham crackers and place your cookie sheet in the oven for about 5 minutes.

Upon removing the cookie sheet from the oven sprinkle white chocolate chips over the crackers.
I used about 3/4 of the package of chips.
Allow the chips to sit and melt for a minute.
Then use a spatula or back of a spoon and spread the chocolate around, making an even coat over all the graham crackers.
Immediately sprinkle with festive sprinkles! 💗

Place your cookie sheet in the refrigerator for two hours for the toffee to harden.

Remove from the refrigerator and break apart into pieces.
Serve immediately, or store in an air tight container.

This stuff is a serious crowd pleaser!

Now it's your turn!
Link up your recipes below :)

  1. We make cracker toffee all the time! We love it. Sometimes we use saltine crackers and sometimes we use graham crackers, one time we mixed 1 cup peanut butter into the butter/ sugar mixture for a Reece's taste. we've used all sorts of chocolate chips and have even combined flavors of chips. I just love that you really can't go wrong with it at all.
