Happy Friday!
I haven't been around much this week for a few reasons...
work has been crazy busy,
it is the last week of summer vacation for my little guy (and my last week of working from home),
and I have been trying to update this blog.

That last one has been a doozy!
I haven't done it myself in so long that I have no idea what I am doing anymore :(
So if anyone could offer up some advice I am more than willing to take it!

So back to the fact that it is Friday!
Wahoo!!!
Let's dive right into my favorites for this past week!

We hopped in the car Friday morning and headed north to Kalahari!

This is the only picture I took once we were inside the water park area :/

Of course X spotted that arcade area the second we walked in the place, so we let him play a couple games before leaving and heading to dinner.

I spotted some amazing desserts in the case at Starbucks!

But I walked away with just a coffee for me, and a cookie the size of X's face for him! :)

We continued our weekend of family fun by heading south to Columbus.
We enjoyed lunch at the Hofbrauhaus.

Oh my goodness was it good!

It was such a fun place too!
I am already plotting a trip back with friends!

Next stop was the Woody Hayes building, but unfortunately they were closed :(

So we settled for looking at the trophies through the windows and a picture next to a giant Woody Hayes statue.

We killed a couple hours shopping and such before we headed to the Columbus Crew soccer game.
If you know me, going to a soccer game is not something I was terribly interested in...but living in a cramped townhouse will make you do crazy things you do nice things for the ones you love ;)

Let me also just state how hard it was to cheer for a team that is black and yellow!

YUCK!!!
#diehardclevelandbrownsfan #ibleedbrownandorange

I must admit, it was pretty interesting how the fans were so into the game.

Almost every single person was wearing something Columbus Crew.
When they announced the players on the Crew the announcer says the first name and literally the entire crowd yells the last name!
And underneath that flag below was a drummer that never.stopped.drumming!
 I'm serious!
The flag went away quickly, but the drummer and the fans underneath it chanted/sang/cheered and drummed the ENTIRE GAME!!!!
What???
They even had flags placed throughout the stadium for fans to wave.
Of course our seats just happened to have one! lol!
After what felt like the longest (most boring sporting event I have ever been to) game ever, the Crew finally scored a goal in the extra time after the full 90 minutes to win the game.
At least X seemed to like it in the end....and he walked away with some Crew swag so I would call it a win for him.

Tuesday I met a friend and her kiddos in Columbus for lunch.

We all live too far apart, but when we get together it is always a good time :)
And those two boys are definitely two peas in a pod!

We tried to get a group picture after lunch, but the wind and sun were not having it! lol!

While we ate the kids bonded over their love for Fortnite,

so when we came outside they had to do the dances! lol!

Anyone else feel like this over the last couple of weeks?

Wednesday evening was 1st grade orientation for X and we couldn't wait to "meet" his teacher!

Mrs. Brane already won me over with her mason jar theme :)

Another favorite this week is this EC planner!
Eek!
How can I not order it?
And I can personalize it!

We waited until the end, but X got his back to school haircut this week as well!
Now he is ready to tackle 1st grade on Monday...mean mug and all ;)

And on that note I am calling it a week!
I apologize for the construction zone you are currently experiencing with the blog.
Fingers crossed I will have the taken care of very soon!

Hope you all have a fantastic weekend!
I am going to soak it up as much as I can before work and school starts on Monday!
