Christmas Wish List

Monday, November 26, 2018

What would you like for Christmas?
That question is always a tough one for me :/
But I did find a few things that would bring a smile to you or your family's face on Christmas morning :)

All the commercials on Thanksgiving morning did me in!
I ordered a Google Home Hub (currently on sale for $99) as a family gift.
We are a google family, so this will work well for all of us!
X loves asking google questions on my phone, so this is sure to be a great addition to our home :)

Another great tech gift that would be great for the whole family...
Gaming systems aren't the cheapest gifts, but if your family is due for an upgrade..this is a great deal in my opinion!
This PS4 bundle is on wish lists for both of the boys in my house ;)

Give the gift of relaxation!
A gift certificate to a spa for a massage, facial, etc. is a great idea for the ladies (and guys) in your life!
It is one of those things that people don't always buy for themselves, but definitely enjoy!

What is on your Christmas wish list?
What is your family asking for?

Linking up with Andrea for...

Today is all about things that fill the following categories on my Christmas Wish Lists.

 Want, Need, Wear, and Read

Want
This absolutely adorable clutch from Little Mugshots!
I Mic ordered one for me for Christmas this year with X's cute face :)
I can't wait to see it under the Christmas tree ;)

Need
A new hair dryer!
My hair dryer is really old and I swear it takes at least 25-30 minutes to dry my hair.
I have a lot of fine hair, but not enough to take that long in my opinion.
I asked my mommy to pick up a new one for me :)

Wear
This necklace from Etsy.
I originally wanted the super similar one from Anthro, but for some reason the letter V has been sold out for months.
So I found the one on Etsy and added it to my Christmas wish list :)

Read
I picked up Jesus Always recently on a trip to Hobby Lobby, so I am hoping to continue reading it each day.

I am also thinking about adding Simmers to my collection of cookbooks too!

Maybe Next Week & Coco Fun!

Linking up with Andrea, Narci & Erika for...

Well it wouldn't be right if this morning was any different than the rest of the week.
Holy moly!
We have overslept/been running late all week!
Thankfully, we have a pretty low key weekend ahead of us so hopefully we can catch up on some sleep and get back to normal for next week.
Plus, next week is a short work/school week so it can't be that hard right?!?!

Anyways, let's get on with my FAVORITES from the week!

On Friday evening I hosted my annual exchange party with friends.
This year we changed it up and made it a FAVORITE Things Party!

On Saturday, X and I traveled north to celebrate my grandma's 83rd birthday :)

My FAVORITE part of the day?
This little one (my niece) FINALLY not crying when she sees me!
In fact, I was able to make her laugh!
And she let me touch her!!!!
<insert all the praise hands emojis here>

I even went home and used my mug my brother gave me in celebration :)

I did my normal grocery shopping Sunday evening, so I knew I needed something to help me get through it.
Stopped by my FAVORITE coffee spot inside Kroger and enjoyed my FAVORITE holiday drink :)

Target had a 30% coupon on Cartwheel Sunday for sleepwear for kids, so I swung by there to pick up a couple things for X.
While there I saw they had 20% off all adult sleepwear.
I couldn't pass this combo up!
My new FAVORITE for sure!
It came with the hat, sweatshirt, shorts, and socks for about $20!

I asked this question on my Instastories the other day, but I figured I would ask it here too.
I am looking at picking up another curling iron for looser waves.
Should I go with a fatter clamp style iron or a curling wand?
What are your FAVORITE brands?

The other morning I was taking out the trash and decided to take a minute to scout out a spot for our family photos.
Living in the country sure isn't fun all the time, but I do have in a built backdrop for our photos every year :)
This was my FAVORITE spot :)

I have wanted to order something from WeeStructed for a couple of years now, but I never remember until it is too late or the items I want are sold out :(
Well, I remembered early this year and picked up a couple gifts for X's teacher this week.
My FAVORITE part....they already arrived!!!!
Crazy fast shipping! And the products look great!
Someone from the company even emailed me a thank you note!
Rockstar service in my opinion!

I shared some of X's FAVORITE things right now that are on his Birthday/Christmas wish list.
I am sure the little boys in your life would like some of these items as well :)

Instagram FAVORITES of the week

It has been forever since I received a box from Influenster!
Well, one just arrived this week and I was super excited!
I briefly opened and already saw a couple of items that I will love!
A full post will be coming to the blog next week!
#funmailismyFAVORITE

NOT MY FAVORITE - remembering that X had to bring a snack to school this morning that began with the letter of the week :(
I made a Kroger run around 9pm last night to pick up some applesauce for all the kiddos.

And that is it for the week!
I am looking forward to relaxing at home and getting some more Christmas shopping done :)
What are your weekend plans?

If you are in the Cleveland, Ohio area check out this fun event for your kiddos tomorrow :)

This Saturday (November 18), each Young Chefs Academy in Northeast Ohio is hosting a special event to celebrate the new Disney/Pixar movie, COCO.  This one-of-a-kind cooking workshop will take fans through several fun recipes, which take their cue from the storyline of the animated movie.   Each event will feature COCO giveaways.  Participating locations include Strongsville, Mentor (in Great Lakes Mall) and Solon.  Event times vary per location.  Please note there is a registration fee to participate.
For locations and more info,  please go to: https://youngchefsacademy.com/coco

About The Movie:

Desperate to prove his talent, Miguel finds himself in the stunning and colorful Land of the Dead following a mysterious chain of events. Along the way, he meets charming trickster Héctor (voice of Gael García Bernal), and together, they set off on an extraordinary journey to unlock the real story behind Miguel's family history. Directed by Lee Unkrich (“Toy Story 3”), co-directed by Adrian Molina (story artist “Monsters University”) and produced by Darla K. Wish List | Boys

Wednesday, November 15, 2017

Like I have said many times before, I don't like to shop.
But when it comes to buying things for X, I love it!
Like a lot of other parents, I want to give him everything under the sun!
Since money doesn't grow on trees, that doesn't happen :/
But I still try to get him some things that are on his Birthday & Christmas Wish List each year :)

LEGO'S
All Minecraft Lego's

ALL THINGS POKEMON

ALL THINGS FOOTBALL

What are you little ones wishing for this year?

A Birthday Wish List

Thursday, November 19, 2015

In a little less than a month I have a birthday coming up.
How am I already turning 37?
I feel like just yesterday I was 16, 18, or even 30!
Time flies people! Time flies.

No matter what the number is, my mom or brother or Mic will ask the dreaded question...

What do you want for your birthday?

Does anyone else have trouble answering that question?
I mean, I could come up with a million things I want when looking at Pinterest.
But when trying to nail down an exact item I would like I blank.

So to please the masses (ie. my family), here you go!

 Weekend Trips
This item is on my wish list every year.
I love, love, love hopping in the car and going somewhere for a weekend.
I don't care to be in the car for too long, so I like short trips (3-4 hours max).
One of my favorite places to go is to Frankenmuth, Michigan!
We went quite a bit as a kid, and Mic and I have gone once.
I can't wait to take X to Bronner's Christmas Store!
I am giddy just thinking about it! :)

Concerts
If you didn't pick up on the fact the that I am an "experience" kind of gal, you will now.
Again, I grew up going to concerts or just going to see live music in general.
I absolutely love it!
I know I am older now, concerts cost more, etc. but I just love the experience of getting to see one of my favorite musical acts live on stage doing their thing!
I have been to some truly great shows in my 36 (almost 37 years).
I want to keep adding to that list!
And yes, I am not afraid to say that I would love to see Taylor Swift in concert!

Duck Boots
These are a bit more reasonable.
I live in Ohio. I love boots. I kind of need a good snow boot now that we live in the country.
These totally make sense to me ;)
I think the navy and tan ones would go perfectly with my navy or cream winter coats.

Speaking of coats....
I didn't put this in the photo above, but coats are always a good idea for me!
I kind of collect them.
One Birthday/Christmas when I was in high school I think I managed to receive 4 different style winter coats.
Again, I live in Ohio.
It gets really cold in the winter.
And a girl has to have options right?
Like a bright orange option ;)

Digital Camera
I kind of feel like the last person on the planet without one.
I mean, I have a decent camera I got about 12 years ago but it isn't a DSLR.
I have a kid who doesn't stop moving in case you didn't know ;)
I want to take photos of him doing his thing.
I want to take better photos for the blog.
I want to take better photos in general!
Most of the photos we have hanging in our home are ones that I took.
The ones of beautiful trees, parks, water, etc.
I want to decorate our house with some new ones.
I will stop now, but the list goes on and on.

Graphic Tees
If I had to name a weakness, it would be graphic tees.
I just can't get enough of them.
I am starting to get to the point where I don't have enough days to wear all the ones I love.
Sad, but true.
But that won't stop me from adding more to my collection!
Bring em' on!

Gift Cards
I love to give gift cards!
They are the perfect gift to give someone who has everything, doesn't want anything, doesn't give you ideas, etc.
Stores, restaurants, services.
I love them!
And this year I am adding Stitch Fix gift cards to my list!
I just signed up and can't wait to get my first box in the mail next week!
Review post coming soon :)

And there you have it!
What is on your wish list this year?

Now it is time for the #ThinkingOutLoudThursday link party!
Link your Thursday post below and make sure to link back to X-tremely V & Penny's Passion :)
Happy Thursday!
