The Friday Faves #25

Friday!

I'm so happy you are finally here!

And even better...the sun is finally shining!!!!

We have had SO MUCH rain over the last week and a half.

Flood warning after flood warning.

The forecast (at the moment) looks dry and sunny for the next couple of days!

WAHOO!!!!

Last Friday was a mini post, so I'm backing up to include a few more favorites from last week as well.

We have been keeping ourselves (X and myself) busy when baseball games are cancelled with trips to Target and Walmart.
X has already picked out his book bag and lunchbox for this coming school year!

And I found these super comfy slip on shoes (with memory foam) finally in my local Walmart for only $9!

And we have been playing lots of UNO and having dance parties to some 80's hair band music! 

Mic and I also celebrated a good friend turning 40!
No, the picture below is not the birthday boy.
But this shirt that our friend Vinnie had made for the party was too funny not to share!

I didn't take many pictures, so this one of Dave while we sang Happy Birthday is as good as it gets :/

And I couldn't leave out these cute and delicious cookies they had at the party!

The very next day X and I were headed north to spend a few days at my dad's house while X attended Cleveland Browns Football Camp!
It was so good!

It was great that I got to spend so much one-on-one time with my dad leading up to Father's Day :)
I had this hat custom made with our local high school colors for his gift.

I absolutely love how it turned out!
Perfect to cheer on X in all his sports he plays for Lexington :)
I'm now in the processing of placing an order to get one for myself ;) 


Mic and I love to take a drive to some place "new" whenever we get a chance.
This past Saturday we landed at a small restaurant in Norwalk, Ohio and were shocked when the spicy onion rings came out like this...

Thankfully, they weren't as hot/spicy as the red color would make you think!


Surprise visits from one of your best friends are simply the best!

Don't mind the baseball in the pic, but this guy just finished up his 3rd camp this month today!

Math camp was super fun this year, and X loved getting to see some of his friends from school.

On the blog this week I shared my Summer fabfitfun box I received from my mom.

And I rounded out my swimwear series with some choices for the men in your life!
