Prime Finds January & February 2021

Tuesday, February 23, 2021

Oh hey there!
Long time no talk/post.
Just when I had a good thing going I ended up sick and in bed for almost an entire week!
And then last week I spent my time trying to catch up at work, while being at home majority of the week for snow days and remote learning.
I felt bad for not being present on the blog, but it had to happen.

Let's move on....
Today I am sharing what I have been priming lately.
And don't forget to come back tomorrow for the February edition of What's Up Wednesday.

But really, let's move on to the Amazon goodies!

I had been looking for new slippers for months and after numerous pairs that just werehttp:// right for me, I finally found ones that ✔ off all the boxes for me.

These moccasin slippers from Jessica Simpson are super soft and have memory foam inside.
Added bonus...they are available in black 🖤
I typically wear a 7.5 shoe size and had to size up to the Large (8-8.5) for a better fit.

I grabbed some new lanyards for X to attach his mask to for school that have metal clasps.
He loves that he doesn't have to worry about his mask getting lost or the clasps breaking.
And they come right in at about $1 a piece.

I was in the mood for a lightweight sweater and I found this one that someone shared (I can't remember who 😔).
I ended up getting two of them I loved it so much!

I have the gray and navy, but it is available in 12 colors.
I recommend going up a size if you want it to be looser.

After Shay shared this next item, I immediately ordered one for myself!

I am loving the A-Wave-We-Go iron!
It is so much fun playing around to create beachy waves or have a more crimped look like I did back when I was a kid.
It really is super easy to use!

My previous Fitbit Versa finally died (after 2+ years) a few weeks ago and I knew I had to suck it up and get another one.
I seriously felt naked without my watch!
After some research and finding a good sale, I snagged the Versa 3 and I'm loving it!!!

It has all the things I need/want in a watch and more!
And I immediately snagged some extra bands to switch them in the future or if my band would break.
I learned my lesson when my band broke on my original Versa and there weren't many options that fit it because it was already a year old :(

I love the smooth athletic feel of these type of bands, and the group of colors are perfect for me.
They come in 10 different bundle (4 in a bundle) options for about $10.

And last but not least, I finally ordered some pillow covers and extra inserts for our new sectional.
If you only knew how hard it was for me to pick these out!
I seriously stress over everything!
Trying to find the right balance of modern/industrial/rustic without going down the farmhouse rabbit hole is SO HARD!
I love black and white plaid despite it being very farmhousey.
I ordered just 1 set of these covers to play off the plaid baskets and rugs I have in the house already.

I'm excited to see how these faux leather covers work with our sectional and colors throughout the house.
Fingers crossed they look good, so I can move forward in getting stools for our island in the same shade :)

I ordered the 18x18 inserts for those covers since the pillows on our couch now are 22x22.
This pack of 4 is only $23 right now.

I also grabbed these covers in the 22x22 size to swap them out with the pillow covers that came with our sectional.
I just placed this order today, so I'm really hoping they all go together like they do in my mind ;)

And for visual purposes, this is the sectional we have...

We absolutely love the Radley from Macy's!
We have the 5 piece chaise sectional with the wedge in the Heavenly Mocha Grey.
We ordered an additional armless chair to fit the space we have.

And that is all for today my friends!
I would love to hear what you are ordering from Amazon these days in the comments below!

I hope you are all having a Terrific Tuesday!

Amazon Time | 2020 Favorites

Wednesday, January 6, 2021

Hello!
Raise your hand if you were happy to see 2020 get out of here 🙋🏻‍♀️
Really there was good and bad to 2020.
One of the good things....all the things we ordered from Amazon 😜
Today I'm looking back at my favorites from 2020 - those things I'm still using today and into 2021!

1. These Cushionaire Sandals (Burk Dupes)
These became my go-to from the moment they arrived!
So comfy and go with absolutely everything!

2. Livho Sunglasses 2 pack
Sunglasses get scratched, lost, stretched out, etc.
This 2 pack is about $15 and there are multiple options to choose from.
These are great to keep extras in your car and your bag.
And at that price, who cares if you have to replace in a year!

3. Meat Chopper
Not sure why I didn't have one of these gadgets already since I cook ground beef at least once a week, but I didn't.
I snagged this guy and it has been so easy chopping up and browning ground beef now!

4. The What is/What was/Who was/etc books
X really likes these type of books.
So ordering groups of them every few months during the year was great to keep him loving what he was reading.
This is just a sample of the ones we picked up in 2020.

5. Tinkle Razors
I 100% admit that I shave my face!
These razors are so easy to use to remove that peach fuzz that we all have.
I would love to try dermaplaning sometime, but for now these work really well for a fraction of the price!

6. Beakey 5 pack beauty blenders
Basically...if you wear make-up, buy these now.
These work just as well (IMO better) than the high priced option.
A pack of 5 is $9!
And most of the time you can catch them on sale for even less!

7. Graphic Tees
You all know I'm a graphic tee junkie, and Amazon has a ton of them!
I picked up these early in the year and rocked them all summer long.
Throw a hoodie or cardigan over them and you can easily wear them year round :)

8. LoveHandle phone grip
Andrea shared this life saver and I couldn't order it fast enough!
I would love a Loopy case, but they only have 2 options for my phone and they aren't super fun or in stock :(
This is a great alternative and only $10!
So many colors to choose from, and the application to my existing case was easy peasy!

9. Levi's Jeans
Everyone needs a pair of go-to jeans!
These guys are it for me :)
They fit perfectly and hold up really well!

10. Soccer socks/Sports socks
These are nothing fancy, but when your child goes to soccer 6 days a week you get tired of washing the socks every other day of the week.
I grabbed a handful of these ($6 each) in multiple colors and now I don't have to panic looking for clean socks each day.

11. Bed sheets
With a new bed size, we needed new sheets.
I quickly grabbed this set and loved them so much I asked for more for Christmas!
Most of the king size colors are $30 and under!

12. 9' Christmas tree
Higher ceilings meant we needed a taller tree.
We moved in right before the holidays, so I didn't have a lot of time to research.
Plus, I didn't want to spend a fortune.
This guy fit the bill perfectly!
My cousin actually ordered the same one and loved it, so it definitely made me feel better about my purchase :)

Honestly, that isn't even all of my favorites!
What items did you purchase in 2020 and love?

Let's Talk About Swimwear

Wednesday, July 8, 2020

Honestly, shopping for swimwear was never that big of a deal to me.
Basically from after high school I worked in the summer months.
I wasn't laying out like I did in my teen years.
So shopping for a swimsuit was only when we were getting ready to go on vacation.
Basically, how I'm shopping now ;)

We leave soon for the Outer Banks and I would love a new swimsuit that makes me feel good.
I have quite a few of them from previous years, but there is something about going on vacation with a new one.
So far this year I haven't found one I love :(

I have tried Target and Amazon so far.
Actually, I have two new ones from Amazon that should be arriving within the week so fingers crossed they are the ones!

Everything I have tried is super cute, and the quality has been really good for the price.
So I decided to share them all with you in case you are in the market for a new swimsuit as well.

I'm just putting this out there....I don't wear a one piece.
I have one in my collection, and it rarely gets worn.
I have an odd length torso so they never look good on me, and I pee WAY TOO MUCH to have to rip that wet thing off and on all day.

I own one Tankini top.
Again, they just never fit me right.
I bought one a few years ago because I knew I would be around some friends and their kiddos and didn't want to look odd in a bikini.

So that leaves us with a basic two piece bikini.
I have different types of them.
Bandeau top, halter style, lace up, etc.
Most my bottoms are the basic bikini style with medium coverage.
I do have one bottom that has high waist. Not my favorite.
However, it is can be adjusted and pushed down a bit so that is why I kept them.

Now that I got all that out of the way...you still here?
I'm going to share a couple of my suits from years past that are still available, and a few new ones I have tried recently.
And don't worry, I'm not sharing myself in any of them.
I'm not a size 0...and I'm ghostly white!

I tried to find more of my suits that I know are available in store, but I can't find them online.
I have a couple from the Shade & Shore brand.

Amazon.com: Ekouaer Womens Forest Leaves Printing High Neck Halter ...

High Neck Halter Bikini Set - This is a cute and simple option I picked up a few years ago.

CUPSHE Flower Print Tank Bikini Set Women Lace up High Waisted ...

High Waisted Lace Up Halter Bikini Set - These are the high waisted bottoms I referenced above.
I really like how this suit fits, and the ease of adjusting the height of the waist.

Amazon.com: CUPSHE Women's Mid Waisted Bikini Set Lace Up Two ...

Mid Waist Lace Up Bikini Set - I ordered this in the white/green option.
This should arrive by early next week.
It is super similar to the style above, so I'm really hoping this one works out :)

Amazon.com: SUUKSESS Women Wrap Bikini Set Push Up High Waisted 2 ...

High Waisted Criss Cross Bikini Set - I ordered this one in the purple/pink tie dye option.
Tops are SO HARD to shop for for me!
Most the reviews sound like this could be a winner for me as well.

SHEKINI Women's Push-up Halter Bandage Ruched High Waisted Bottoms ...

Halter Bandage Bikini Set - I almost kept this one.
The fit is TTS, and I really liked these bottoms.
The top size was just slightly off for me, so I returned it in the end.
If you aren't bigger busted, I would totally suggest this one!

COCOSHIP Womens Ruching High Waist Bikini Set Cross Wrap Push Up ...

High Waisted Wrap Around Bikini Set - Same goes for this one as the one above.
The waist is much higher on this bottom if you are looker for more coverage.
Again, this top style is great for a smaller bust size.

I also tried a couple options from Target, but they aren't available online right now.
One was a tie dye scoop style top with bikini bottom - they are mix and match.
Super cute, but the scoop style doesn't look very good on me.

I would love to hear your thoughts now!
Where do you shop for swimwear?
What is your favorite style?
One piece, Tankini or two piece?
Let me know in the comments below :)

And don't forget to link up your style related posts today!
