Nordstrom Sale Hits & Misses

My plan this year for the @NSALE was to update my shoe (specifically bootie) collection.

I thought I would try out some of the must have cardigans as well.

And I picked up a few back to school items for X.

So let's see what worked and what couldn't get back in the box faster :)

So here is what I ordered for X...

 Tucker + Tate Quilted Zip-Up Hoodie

 Tucker + Tate Camo Print Jogger Pant (available in Big Boys too)

 Under Armour T-Shirt

 Nike Air Fleece Jogger Pants

Honestly, when I first showed him what I was going to order he had no interest in them.

When they arrived, he couldn't get enough of them! lol!

He was super excited for his 1st grader clothes and can't wait to wear them :)
And as you can tell, he wasn't camera shy at all! ;)

As for me, I wasn't so lucky with the items I ordered.

I really wanted a camo thermal that apparently sold out in seconds Day 1 of the sale :(

I never got a chance to try it, but I sure think I would have loved it!

They didn't even restock either :(

Next up were these three cardigans that multiple bloggers raved about.

I only recently started wearing cardigans in the last year or so, so maybe I am just picky.

But the first two....no!

This one was super lightweight, but that also meant that it hung really weird on me.
It basically made everything look bigger :(

I had high hopes for this one (I can't find it, so it must be sold out), but it wasn't nearly as soft as I thought/read it would be.
And it shed. A LOT!
And all I did was try it on!

I ordered this one in the Brown Cattail color, but is it currently sold out.
I loved this one!
Perfect weight. Hung great!
Definitely a keeper!

I also ordered these two sweaters.

The twist front (sold out) was super cute.....but cropped.

My abs just aren't ready for that!

However, this sweater was a dream!

Super lightweight and soft!

I can't wait to wear it!

Unfortunately, it is sold out :(

Next up are leggings.

I knew I would love the faux camo leather leggings (currently sold out) from Spanx since I already have the regular faux leather leggings from them.

Sure enough they did not disappoint!

LOVE!!!

Another blogger love item were the Zella live in leggings.

Um....this blogger did not love them.

They were just OK to me.

I can definitely get something similar and much cheaper at Old Navy or Target.

Bootie Time!

I loved so many this year!

And so many colors!

So I did what any logical person would do when they couldn't decide which one they liked best.

I ordered my favorites in multiple colors!

I saw these 1.State studded booties before the sale started and knew I needed to make them mine!
I ordered them in black and the gray suede below.

And now I can't decide!
I think I am going to go with the gray, but the black goes with so many things too!

I originally ordered these BP booties in the gray suede and absolutely loved them as soon as they arrived!

But I was drawn to this cognac shade as well!

So....I placed another order for these :)

And I love them too!

Honestly, I think I am keeping them both because the colors are so different and will honestly go with just about everything I own!

This last pair from Sole Society was another one I saw before the sale started and really wanted to try.

I think they are perfect for work or fun!

I really thought about ordering the Porcini color to try as well, but I think I am going to stick with the black ones :)

And that is the last time you will hear about the Nordstrom Anniversary sale from me for this year! lol!
