We've had our share of pizza over the last week or so, but we have been loading up on fruits and veggies too!

That this time 4 years ago we went on our very first family vacation with X!

And 5 years ago was our last vacation as just the two of us!

That Fall is almost here!

Football is back and the temps are slowly dropping.

Sweater and boot season will be here before we know it! YEH!

X went back to school!

He loves school and his new teacher!

Looking forward to a great year :)

I also participated in the our Fantasy Football Draft this past weekend.

This is my first year drafting and managing the team all by myself!

Eek! Wish me luck!

What I'm dreading

Having to wake up early on Saturday mornings for soccer games :(

I signed X up for his first season of soccer and they start next weekend.

I have never been a soccer fan, so this is going to be rough!

Picking up a new planner!

I loved the personalized look of my EC planner I have used this year, it is a bit too bulky for my taste :(

I think I am heading back to Target for one of these...

I had it last year and loved it!

My favorite denim jacket is on repeat almost every day (see below).

Still rockin' flip flops and sandals to work while the temps are in the 80's, but I am so looking forward to wearing my TOMS booties (same style) again this year :)

What I'm doing this weekend

Possibly joining some friends for an end of summer hurrah at a local pool/water park and then cooking out :)

I wear this jacket ALL.THE.TIME!
It goes with everything!
I would wear it year round if I could, but it is a bit too cold in the winter here in Ohio :/

While I love Fall for many reasons, the best thing is Football!

Thursday through Monday in the Fall are great!

Today I am breaking down who I am cheering for this year.

Friday Night Lights
High School football is something I truly enjoy.
I did Pom-poms and junior football cheerleading as a kid before getting to be a high school cheerleader.
I LOVE cheerleading!
But I may love the actual football game even more!
Friday nights were the best, and I still love them :)
Until I moved to my husband's hometown, my heart belonged to the Cardinals.

But these days I also love to cheer on the Minutemen as well :)
I am raising a future one after all!

 College Game Day
Saturdays were never a big day in our house for football when I was growing up, and they really aren't now.
So I don't have a team I have to cheer for.
But if I have to pick, those Georgia Bulldogs aren't too bad :)

One of the only college games I watch all year long is the match-up between Ohio State and Michigan.
As a kid I always liked Michigan over Ohio State.
My favorite elementary teacher went to Michigan :)
These days I live a bit too close to Ohio State to rock much of my Michigan gear :/
And all of my family and friends cheer on OSU.

Saving the best for last!
If you don't know already, I was raised on the Cleveland Browns.
Basically since before I was born.

I mean....

Today we are talking about our Fall Favorites!

Let's be real for a moment, everything about Fall is my favorite! lol!

Now I am not sure about other states, but Ohio in the Fall is the bees knees people!

The changing colors of the leaves, the cooler temps, the bonfires, football, etc.

All things are just better in the Fall in my book :)

Now that I got that out of the way, I do have some things that I just get giddy about during the Fall since I don't really have them the rest of the year.

First up, Dinner in a Pumpkin!

One word - DELICIOUS!

This is seriously my favorite thing to make in the Fall!

You need to try it! And let me know if you do :)

Pumpkin Spice Lattes from Starbucks

This is the drink of Fall.

You know I am right?

And it is hands down the best of them all!

Others try, but they can't beat the PSL from Starbucks :)

Pumpkin Pecan Waffles Soap & Candles & Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin Body Spray & Lotion from Bath & Body Works

I really should just say ALL the Fall scents, but these ones rank the highest for me.

BB&W is pretty good during the rest of the year too, but in the Fall they are the best!

Football!

Particularly, Cleveland Browns football!

Sunday afternoons you will find me sitting on my couch or at the game cheering on my favorite team.

I wear scarves throughout the year, but I really wear them in the Fall!

So many styles and colors to choose from!

I am not really a jewelry person, so scarves are my go-to accessory :)

I have my eye on this one at the moment :)

I don't know about you, but this time of year is my favorite!

The temps start dropping, the leaves start changing colors and falling, football is back,

and the kiddos are back in school!

That also reminds me, I need to pick up a new planner!

On Thursday night we grabbed a quick dinner before heading to X's preschool for orientation.

A couple of his friends are joining him this year and he was so excited!

This kid was beaming being back in one of his favorite places!

He is such a social butterfly!

And he loves getting to play with his friends every day :)

Unfortunately, his friend was a bit more nervous about going school :/

Don't worry, as soon as I stopped snapping pics he was excited too!

We briefly met X's teacher for the year and checked out who was in his class.

Friday night we joined some friends for a pizza party before all the kids go back to school.
The boys had so much fun playing together :)
And the parents had a great time too!
I love getting to spend a casual evening with some of my favorite people!
So much so I didn't take a single picture!

Mic had to work on Saturday morning, so X and I headed out to pick up a few last minute back to school clothing items.
First stop, Target!
Our favorite place :)


It rained most of the day, so we skipped the Blueberry Festival and hung out with one of our favorite families again :)
The boys were playing Wii Tennis against their dads.

Sunday was a beautiful day!
Mic did some yard work while X and I headed to the festival.
Favorite part of the day was getting to ride this horse named Olaf!

And we couldn't leave without picking up my favorite fair food!
French fries with salt and vinegar = ALL THE HEART EYE EMOJIS!!

Speaking of back to school, high school was one of my favorite times of my life!
There were a few things I wish I would have done differently though.

Check out the advice I would give myself :)

Tuesday morning was the first day of school for X and we were all so excited!

And that last question was by far my favorite! ;)

We got there a little early and were able to snag a first day pic with his teacher.
I am sure he is going to have a great year!

That night I had an extremely overdue hair appointment with one of my favorite ladies.
I was almost there when she text me to say she was about 30 minutes behind :(
So I stopped by the closest store to waste some time.
Thankfully, it was Hobby Lobby!

I had to take a picture of the fact she made me look like the flying nun with that foil in my hair! lol!

I got home so late that X was already sleeping :(
So in the morning we made up for it with some silly selfies before school!
These cherries were are favorite!

And one more reason it is my favorite time of year...
