Camo Skirt | 3 Ways

When the lovely ladies at Salt & Light Lifestyle came out with this camo skirt I knew I had to have it!

Those sweet ladies sent me the skirt and I couldn't wait to style it!

It is so versatile, so I decided to show you 3 different ways I would wear this skirt.

~ one ~

This look screams Spring/Summer to me!

I paired the skirt with a white tank that I knotted at the waist,

a simple long necklace (similar),

some slide on sandals (similar),

and my must have denim jacket (same brand).

I absolutely love this look!
And I felt great in it!
This would be great for a business casual office, a teacher, lunch with friends, errands, etc.


~ two ~

I knew I wanted to pair this skirt with my combat boots (similar).
I pictured rockin' them with a concert tee and leather jacket.
But today I wanted to show another option.
This time I did a front tuck with my basic black tank (similar),
threw on one of my favorite black hats (similar) and called it an outfit!

This is SO me!
If it is chilly, just throw that trusty denim or leather jacket over the tank and you still are 100% pulled together :)


~ three ~

The last way I decided to style this skirt is honestly what I pictured in my head since the moment I saw it.

This skirt has the perfect amount of stretch that I simply pulled it up and made it a body con strapless dress.
Eek!
Love it!
I paired it with some black open toe booties (similar) and sunglasses, but you can always add a jacket, swap the booties out for heels or sandals too.
Honestly, the possibilities with this skirt are endless.

I am planning on pairing it with a white dress shirt tucked in for another great work option soon.

Happy Friday Friends!

Yes, I know this post is late but I am learning to live in the moment more.

Last night my little guy wanted to watch one of my FAVORITE Christmas movies with me and I couldn't say no!

So that meant this post had to wait until Friday morning :)

Over the weekend we spent much needed time with some of our FAVORITE people for an early Christmas dinner.

I picked up my FAVORITE little guy on Monday from school and he had lost another tooth!

That is FIVE now! CRAZY!!!!

Instagram was killin' it this week! So many FAVORITES!

On Wednesday I joined those beautiful Texas ladies and talked about how I try to stay sane during the holidays :)

I am looking for a new coat that is a bit more casual than my wool ones I wear to work everyday.

Well, someone posted this one on Instagram this week and I knew I had to make it mine!

Camo is my FAVORITE!!!

 But when I got to the site I found this one too!!!

 So I did what any logical person would do when they are on a 50% off sale...I bought them both!

I plan on returning one of them once I try them on, but just for fun...which one would you pick?

 X had  his first snow day of the year yesterday.

While this pic doesn't seem to show it, he was pumped to get to play with his friends all day.

He actually said it was his BEST DAY EVER! lol!

 Last night we had to run a quick errand after work/school and this kid picked up these bagels to have at home as a snack.

He was closing his eyes while he was eating them because they were SO GOOD! 

These are X's new FAVORITE now!

I swear he had 4 of them last night!

Someone finally granted my wish and X asked to watch one of my FAVORITE movies last night!

He has told me for years that The Grinch was scary, and didn't know why I liked it.

So he finally agreed to watch it with me last night for the first time and really liked it!

And on that note I am calling this post done!

Looking forward to celebrating my birthday this weekend with a few of my FAVORITE people :)

I can't believe I am entering the last year of my 30's!!!!

Keep Calm and Wear Camo

Unless you are new around here you probably know that I love camo print.

In fact, some may even call it an unhealthy love...but we don't need to bother ourselves with those people ;)

I have jeans, scarves, hats, tees, leggings, etc.

I bought these Kut from the Kloth jeans a few years ago, so they are unfortunately sold out :(

 I received this amazing scarf from the super sweet Deena :)

This hat is from Target a few years ago, but they always seem to be offering a newer version in store.

 And most of X's jackets/coats, some pants/shorts, and tees are camo print.

I picked up this North Face fleece a few years ago in the #NSALE and X and I both loved it!

I just recently added the following to mine and X's collections...

Nickel & Suede Camo Earrings

Yes, I already have a pair of teardrop camo earrings...

BUT they are not from N&S and are smaller so these are totally justified ;)

And now I am thinking about adding these shoes and possibly this sweatshirt.

And maybe this tee for X :)

Help!!! I can't control myself around camo print! lol!

Tell me you love camo print as much as I do!

If so, what am I missing out there! lol!

But seriously...what else do I need to add to my collection?
