A little of this, a little of that

Tuesday, December 3, 2013

FYI: Today is a just a hodge podge of things.

First, I would love to win the $500 Nordstrom gift card that Sheaffer & Shay (and here too) are giving away!

Easy entry....add it to my blog. DONE!!!
And if you haven't checked their blogs out, do so today!
They started their 12 days of Christmas posts yesterday and they are just so much fun!

Next....
I decided to take part in Kiki La' Rue's Photo A Day challenge for the month of December.
Here are the topics for each day if you want to join the fun!

Follow me on Instagram to see each of my photos :)

And last but not least for today...
We had some family/Christmas/X is 2 photos taken in Columbus over the weekend. If you live in the area and are looking for a good photographer, please check out Christy! She has done our photos for the last year and is wonderful to work with! If you don't need a photographer, but are looking for some fun locations....then check out downtown Canal Winchester or Slate Run Metro Park. The following photos are from the sneak peek we received yesterday! I absolutely LOVE them and can't wait to see the rest!

Holiday Weekends are the best!

Monday, December 2, 2013

I honestly felt like I was away from work for a week's vacation instead of a long weekend!

Between picking out our Christmas tree, celebrating Thanksgiving up north, Black Friday shopping with one of my best friends, family pictures, etc., etc.
We had a super busy holiday weekend, but it was great!

My dad, his friend Bruce and his daughter Rachel made Thanksgiving Eve Father/Daughter night. We headed out to the bar for some drinks and live music.

X was playing it cool while watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade :)

My little goofball was having too much fun during dinner.

We had quite a few desserts to choose from after our feast!

I think someone enjoyed his pilgrim hat cookie ;)

We came home Thursday evening and X was amazed by the Christmas tree :) Mic and I put it up and this was the first time he was able to see it.

He was in a zone with his morning cartoons!

On Saturday evening we stopped by Easton Town Center to see the Christmas tree lights and visit Santa.

X & mommy selfie :)

After waiting an hour to meet Santa, all X wanted to do was play with the toys. He sat a whole 30 seconds on Santa's lap!

Santa was nice and understanding, so I at least had to get a picture of him :)

Our elf Sheldon showed up on Sunday with all the ingredients for a good breakfast :)

After an incredibly busy weekend Starbucks was calling my name!

How did you spend your Thanksgiving?
Did you do any Black Friday shopping?
Are you planning on doing some Cyber Monday shopping?
