#LastChristmasMovie | Advanced Screening Giveaway

Monday, October 21, 2019

From the studio that brought you Love Actually comes the feel-good movie of the holiday season!
Universal Pictures presents Last Christmas.
Featuring the music of George Michael.

Last Christmas - In Theaters November 8th
Official Website | Facebook | Twitter | Instagram | #LastChristmasMovie

Kate (Emilia Clarke) harumphs around London, a bundle of bad decisions accompanied by the jangle of bells on her shoes, another irritating consequence from her job as an elf in a year-round Christmas shop.
Tom (Henry Golding) seems too good to be true when he walks into her life an starts to see through so many of Kate's barriers.
As London transforms into the most wonderful time of the year, nothing should work for these two.
But sometimes, you gotta let the snow fall where it may,
you gotta listen to your heart...
and you gotta have faith.

Watch and share the trailer for LAST CHRISTMAS, starring Emilia Clarke and Henry Golding.

Linking up with Erika, Narci & Andrea for...

Do you ever have those weeks that just seem to drag on forever?
That has been this week.
And extra stressful.
I am not normally one to stay at home, but all I feel like doing is going to bed after work today and not waking up until Monday morning :/
But I'm a wife/mom so that isn't going to happen!

One thing that has added to my stress this week is my phone decided to go crazy this past week.

The phone app itself decided to stop working, and the all my other apps followed suit :(
Meaning I haven't be able to take pictures, post to Instagram, etc.
You don't realize how much you are addicted to love social media until it is taken from you :/
Thankfully Verizon is sending me a new phone so I should be back to normal posting and such this weekend :)

I did actually post on Monday a little reintroduction of myself,

as well as a Disney Junior Puppy Dog Pals giveaway.

Head here to read a little bit more about me and to enter the giveaway!

Carrie Underwood released a new song this week and I am loving it!
And she mentioned something about putting together a new tour!
Getting tickets to see her live is on my Long Term To-Do List :)

Before my phone was nutso, I was entertained by these on Instragram :)
I absolutely love this tee!
Curly Q's Counter has all kinds of super cute tees and such!
This one is made for moms with 2-4 as well!

And this right here is 100% truth!

X started Spring soccer this week!
Eeek!
I just love watching that kid do his thing :)
They ended with a 4-4 tie, but X scored 3 goals ⚽
#proudmomhere

And last, but certainly not least for today..I have another giveaway for you!
Calling all my Northeast Ohio ladies!
I am giving away tickets to see an advance screening of Amy Schumer's new movie I Feel Pretty!

Change everything, without changing anything at an advance screening of Amy Schumer’s new comedy I FEEL PRETTY!
Get two free tickets to the screening on Tuesday, April 17 at 7:00pm at Regal Great Northern.

*Please note that seating is first come, first served and not guaranteed so please arrive early. Available while supplies last.

And that is a wrap for this week!
Hope you all have a great weekend!
Thanks for stopping by!

Friday Favorites | All The Things

Linking up with Andrea, Narci & Erika for...

Why do 4 day work weeks always feel so long?
Or is that just me?
Either way, I am so happy that the weekend is here!

Backing up to late last week to get things started today.
So years ago we took X to his very first dentist appointment and it was....rough.
Not that he misbehaved or anything, it just wasn't an experience that I wanted to do again.
So we didn't.
Fast forward to last week...we finally found a dentist for X!
He did so well at his appointment and is looking forward to going back :)
Watching this kid become a big boy is my FAVORITE thing to do!

We kicked off our 3 day weekend with our FAVORITE Friday night food - PIZZA!
And then we settled in and watched the rest of the Star Wars Episode 3.

I took 0 pictures.

On Saturday, we worked all day, and I mean ALL DAY sorting through the playroom.
Lego's are X's FAVORITE toys, but they were insanely unorganized!
Happy to report that after way too many hours of organizing, the Lego's are all now color coded and put away :)
#allthepraisehandsemojis

Again, I took 0 pictures all day.

Sunday morning I made my normal grocery run and thought I would enjoy one of my FAVORITE fall drinks while I shopped.
Unfortunately, my Starbucks did not have PSL's or Salted Caramel Mocha's yet :(

I then proceeded to take 0 pictures all day.

But wait! I did take 2 at the very end of the day!

Fires are my FAVORITE!

Even better...fires with my two FAVORITE guys!

After X went to bed, Mic and I binge watched 3 more episodes of Game of Thrones so we are now on season 3.
Do you watch GOT?
Who is your FAVORITE character?

You know why I didn't take any other pictures all weekend?
This....
This is what the couch looked like on Monday when I was done doing all the laundry we had!
Laundry is NOT MY FAVORITE!!!!

Monday evening we had a crazy storm and high winds that resulted in us losing power from 11pm until 7am :(
#noelectricinthecountryisnotmyfavorite
Thankfully there wasn't any damage to our house, but we did have a large branch come down near the front of our property.

The one time I blogged this week (other than today) (yes, you read that right) I joined The Blended Blog for their monthly Ask Series.
I shared some of my FAVORITE back-to-school memories and such :)

Wednesday evening I headed north for an advance screening of Reese Witherspoon's new movie Home Again.
She is one of my FAVORITE actresses and she doesn't disappoint in this movie!
It was so much fun!
It is in theaters today!
#HomeAgainMovie

My mom joined me for dinner and the movie, and then we grabbed some coffee after with my aunt and cousin.
And I finally got my first PSL of the season!

NFL is back!
I can't wait to watch my FAVORITE team play on Sunday!
Go Browns!

And Fall soccer began this week for X!
As much as his mommy isn't thrilled about it, it is his FAVORITE thing to do right now!
#cantwaittilhecanplaybasketballorfootball

He did amazing at their first game last night!
He scored 2 goals and they came away with a big W!!!

That's it for the first week of September!
I hope you all have a fantastic weekend!

I wanna be a Rock Star!

Tuesday, June 6, 2017

Happy Tuesday!
My weekend started earlier than expected when X woke up with a terrible cough on Friday morning.
So I worked from home instead so he could stay home and rest most of the day.

I did have to run into the office to grab a few things, so we decided to bring our lunches with us and eat with Mic.

X LOVES getting to pretend like he is Mic and "do work"!

We came home, did a bit more work and then took naps.
Yes, I said naps plural.
I woke up and started getting dinner ready while X continued to sleep for awhile.
I think he took a good 2 1/2-3 hour nap!

Our grill is old and the grates had completely broke apart, so I was super excited to test out the new ones we just picked up...but mainly to just have grilled food!
I love just about anything cooked on the grill!

Saturday X woke up and seemed to be doing much better despite waking up in the middle of the night with a coughing fit.
We headed to X's soccer pizza party that afternoon and he was so excited to see his buddies and to get a trophy!

We left Pizza Hut and immediately headed to a birthday party at our friend's house :)

I swear we are always the last people to leave!
Actually, we were :/
But these kiddos had a blast running around together and pretending they were a rock band!

He doesn't listen to it much with me, but my child apparently loves to see heavy metal/death metal style! lol!
#wehaveascreamer

When they weren't inside rockin' out, they were outside jumping around in the bounce house.

Sunday morning we woke up and decided it was time for X to see his first movie at the theater.
I know, it is hard to believe he is 5 1/2 and has never been to the theater!
There are a few reasons for that...
1. He doesn't sit still
2. He doesn't know how to be quiet during the movie
3. He is such a homebody that I could never get him to go!

He had been talking about Captain Underpants for awhile now and couldn't wait for the movie to start!

 X loved it!
I shouldn't admit this, but potty humor is huge in our house so this movie was right up X's ally.

On the way out he saw the arcade and couldn't resist!
They had the Jurassic World game and X was in heaven!

The rest of our weekend was filled with grocery shopping and preparing for the week ahead.

What did you do this weekend?

Stranded with....Christmas Movies

Wednesday, December 14, 2016

Linking up with Shay & Erika for...

Today is all about Christmas Movies!
They are simply the best!
I could watch these movies below all day, every day if I had the time!
A Christmas Story has been my all time favorite Christmas movie for most of my life.
They filmed it in Cleveland, Ohio :)
I grew up going to many of the same places they feature in the movie :)

If it wasn't for that movie above, The Grinch with Jim Carrey would take top honors.
Oh, how I love this movie!
I have Grinch ornaments, t-shirts, pajama pants, the movie (of course), coffee mugs, etc.

Four Christmases rounds out my top 3 :)
Anyone who has divorced parents, is married, has a significant other, or a child can relate to this movie in my opinion.
Or at least I do, because we seriously have FOUR Christmases every year!
Besides relating to it, I absolutely love Vince Vaughn and Reese Witherspoon in pretty much any movie they are in.

Honorable Mention
We started watching Arthur Christmas last year with X just by chance and we all love it!
We watch it multiple times throughout the holidays :)

Another Vince Vaughn movie because, well, Vince Vaughn.
Plus, I truly enjoy this movie :)

Who doesn't love elf?

And last, but certainly not least....
Is anyone else a sucker for The Brady Bunch?
I grew up watching the reruns of the TV show and always watched the movies.
When Marcia and Jan got married, etc.
This one is my favorite because I still picture this scene and love this particular song since the very first time I saw Mrs. Brady sing it :)
