Yesterday marked 13 years since Mic and I said "I do!".

These days we are definitely in that old married couple stage with running a business, driving X all over to his games/practices/school, building our house, etc.

I'm sure some day we won't be ships just passing through the night ;)

Just like any couple we have had many highs and lows throughout our 13 years.

Heck, we've actually been working our way through life together for 18 1/2 years!

I wouldn't trade those years for anything...well maybe some sleep ;)

Just kidding!

Better late than never right?!

This week I joined some of my FAVORITE ladies over at The Blended Blog and shared some of my FALL FAVORITES :)

On Tuesday I recapped one of our FAVORITE weekends of the year - Oktoberfest!

Sporting events are mine and X's FAVORITE!

Fall soccer is coming to a close this weekend for our little guy,

but we are looking forward to watching The Cleveland Indians in the playoffs,

all the football we can play and watch,

and fingers crossed starting a basketball league soon!

Getting a fresh cut and color from Kasey is always a FAVORITE!
How many people get quality one-on-one time with a friend these days?
Cherry on top is that that friend can work her magic and make you feel fantastic :)

Since I am finishing this up this morning I will add this..seeing the Cleveland Indians win is a FAVORITE!

Oktoberfest, Field Trips & Anniversaries

Let's get to my favorites for the last week!

I had to swing into Kroger to pick up some supplies for work and I couldn't resist getting some Starbucks!

Pumpkin Spice Lattes and Salted Caramel Mocha's are my favorite :)

On Saturday we headed southwest to Minster, Ohio for Oktoberfest!

It is seriously one of my favorite things to do!

This quaint little town reminds me a lot of my hometown :)

Two of my favorite ladies ready to celebrate Oktoberfest :)

Last year we forgot to take a picture together until the end of the night...meaning dark and gloomy looking.

So this year I got a pic with my favorite guy at the beginning :)

 Oktoberfest in Minster has lots of music, crafts, food, and beer.

These wooden pumpkins were my favorite!

I enjoyed a cabbage roll for dinner and then snacked on this yummy giant pretzel!

So good!

 We had such a great time celebrating with some of our favorite people!

We are already talking about our trip next year!

On Tuesday morning I joined my favorite preschooler for his school field trip!

I love getting to see this little pumpkin have fun and interact with his friends :)

Covered slides are not X's favorite, so we watched the other kids and had fun with the straw horse.

 X loved the rope swing and hay maze!

They also "milked" a cow, 

 sorted apples

and learned about making fresh apple cider.

X's favorite activity was last...the zip line!

 And then it was cider time!

I can't believe this kid actually tried it and liked it!

For almost 5 years he has strictly drank water or milk because he won't try anything else!

Big step in our world! lol!

 I had the absolute best time with him!

I surprised him and let him come home with me after the field trip and let him pick where he wanted to go for lunch.

Of course he picked his favorite...McDonald's!

 X isn't a fan of the playland stuff, but he does like the computers set up to play games!

After lunch we stopped by Apple Hill to pick up some of our favorite apple donuts!

The day flew by!

Before I knew it it was time for my hair appointment with my favorite girl Kasey!

 Since I got out of there late, I stopped by Taco Bell for dinner to celebrate #NationalTacoDay

It is one of my favorite things to check daily!

And last, but certainly not least...this guy is my favorite!

My life wouldn't be what it is today without him!
